Greater than one weekThese did just what I needed. I cut one in half, and thats all I needed. I have a small specialized collection of sockets specific to appliance repair, and I needed just these to fit into a small bag. Perfect. So if your question is Can these be modified? the answer is yes.

> 3 dayJust received 3 of these rails today. I was quite happy with the overall construction and how nicely my sockets snap into place. Doesnt feel like the cheap garbage rails Ive been using from AutoZone and the like. Ill update my review if they dont hold up to future abuse. For just around the house though, these are probably the best rails Ive seen.

> 3 dayThe clips hold the sockets with the right amount of strength. Not so loose that the sockets fall off, or so tightly that you need both hands a strong will to get the socket off the clip. I will be purchasing more of these.

> 3 dayIf you even breathe on your sockets, itll fall over. Gets cramped once you start filling it up, and the end caps are easy to lose.
