Have a RAM phone holder setup but I couldnt find MagSafe charger that would fit a 1inch ball. All the MagSafe car chargers including the vent attachment and were reasonably priced. Of course I made the mistake of assuming all the balls are same... THEY ARE NOT.... Most of the cheaper vent attachment car chargers have 0.5 inch female ball adapters, this was what the doctor order, fits perfect with original RAM setup with 1inch ball clamp. Good luck. dont get your ball sizes twisted up!

After doing some research this was supposed to be the size that would adapt my RAM mount to my Garmin Cradle, unfortunately the end that goes to the Garmin Cradle is too loose and wont stay positioned and just flops around like its searching for a bottle of tiny blue pills. Im going to try and wrap it with some black electrical tape or heat shrink tubing or something to take up the difference, but I cant say im not disappointed even though the rest of the build quality seems nice.

Usually you see some reviews, it wont fit, had to modify, and worry. I figured eh, for $5 whatever, lemme try it. As soon as I got it, tested it out and boom, insta happy. It fit and works great.

A bit loose on the Garmin cradle. Maybe works best when paired to the Arkon unit with threaded ball socket, not so much with Garmin.
