This definitely cut down on odor, but Im not a fan of the scent at all. Ive got all my windows open and fans running on high trying to get it to dissipate as quickly as possible. Its still pretty strong even after 4 hours.

My bedroom carpet is old and has that funky odor. Its 24 X 20 and I used 2 boxes to liberally sprinkle the powder into the carpet and then waited 30 minutes to vacuum it. All the powder came right up. The carpet didnt have pet odor; just that old carpet smell. Its been 2 weeks and it still smells good. If the odor comes back you can just bet I will treat the carpet again.

Worked well for what I needed

The powder is easy to apply -- gently shake the box and the powder will spread across the carpet. Use a bare flat mop head, such as a dry Swiffer, (not Swiffer Wetjet) to brush the powder into the carpet and wait ten to twenty minutes. Vacuum your carpet until all of the powder is gone. Enjoy a happy, healthy carpet.

My rug space rug in my room gets very dirty and smelly easily with a puggle puppy running, peeing on it constantly. After I apply this powder on my carpet, wait 15 min, and vacuum, it takes away and bad smell and replaces it with a good floral fragrance! And it’s strong so it stays with the carpet even after vacuuming! Pet people that have smelly houses from them, this is definitely worth the money for the quality!

I like the delicate scent

I used this on the carpet in the guest bedroom where someone had been smoking; it neutralized the odor and brightened the carpet. The scent is nice but a bit overpowering for me.

I actually use this product in the cat litter box for my cat. It works great to hide the smells of the litter box till I can clean it out. I use this daily everytime I sift the litter. Solves my problem. Try it!

At some point my dog decided that pooping in the house is the best revenge for me having a job which results in her only going to the dog park once per day. She is way too smart for her own good and gets a little vindictive. Anyways, maybe once a month or so she will poop on the only carpet rug in the entire house. One awful day this happened while I was at work and before Sir Sucks-a-Lot (my robovac) did its usually round of cleaning. As you can imagine this is definitely not a good mix. My usually reliable friend Sir Sucks-a-Lot went from sucking up dirt and pet hair to a one-day contract as a dog poop steamroller and paved the entire rug. IT. WAS. AWFUL. I smelled it as soon as I came into the house. The sight was way worth than the smell. My once green and white rug was now paved brown with the revenge of my best friend. I spent hours de-pooping and shampooing the rug. Once I was finished, I spread the odor eliminator over the carpet to soak up the remaining moisture (gross), and absorb the smell. 24 hours later Sir Sucks-a-Lot returned to his day job and vacuumed up the odor-absorbing powder and my left my rug smelling great and looking good as new. I highly recommend for anyone with a pet who disrespects their rugs or carpet by pooping inside.
