A wide variety of colors. A few base colors will need to be purchased along side this kit if you plan on painting very often because they are used much more than the more specific colors

Bought these for my artist wife. She loves them. Versatile. Ive had to rebuy these for her more than once and Im sure I will have to again. Makes it easy on me when Im stuck on what to get as a gift for her. Thanks for that!

Im not a professional artist...clearly but omg I feel like Bob Ross using this. The blend is smooth and beautiful and the color is so pigmented it almost looks digital. Buy it

I recently bought this set of 24 Premium acrylic paints based on the colors in the set and the lightfastness rating, thinking that a painting using these paints would last a very long time...wrong! IMO, Arteza was very sneaky in how they list their lightfast ratings. They use the ASTM (American Standard of Test Measure) scale of I-III, with I being 100s of years and a III being 15-50 years. When you look on their tubes or their boxes, every color got a III, with the exception of Orange Yellow, which got a II. This means that if I want to sell one of my paintings using these paints, I can not in good conscience, as I know this painting is going to start fading very quickly. This is extremely important to me! Other student grade paints like Liquitex Basics use the same lightfast system, but 44 of their 48 (set) got Is and the other four colors received a rating of II. Artezas paints though beautifully packaged, smooth to paint and having a lovely range of colors will be going back. If the years these paints are going to retain their original color or hue is not important to you, then this is a great set. They just do not work for me.

I am using these on GW miniatures. They work great. You just have to get a thinner. You have to mix with a thinner, but you can control the paint mixture to fit your style. For example, I get brush strokes from acrylic drying too fast so I mix with thinner and a slow dry medium. It takes me about a minute to mix. I love it. I cannot believe how many colors I received for so cheap. Now I can spend more money on models.

With the exception of the caps on the tubes (will explain later), this is easily a 5 star paint. I have used all kinds of acrylic paint from the 99 cents craft paint all the way to the artist brands, Golden, Matisse, and Utrecht, and I have struggled with all of them...so much so that I have switched to oil, watercolor, and even Casein because of the frustration I felt with acrylic paint. I found acrylic paint hard to blend because if dried too fast. When layering with washes or glazes one grade of paint would be too washed out and another grade would be overpowered with pigment. Adding acrylic mediums rarely helped and only complicated the painting process. Needless to say with putting so much money into trying to find the perfect paint that would fit my painting style I am happy to say my search is over. I have found my Goldilocks paint and am no longer searching. This paint dries slightly slower than most of the acrylic paints that I have used and have found it much easier to blend and it has the perfect amount of pigment for my painting style. The one drawback to the set, as I mentioned above, are the caps on the paint tubes. I have had this set for 7 months now and a few of the caps on some of my more used tubes have broken apart. It is a typical mushroom type cap but the stem part of the cap after a while sometimes splits and breaks off leaving the head unable to actually screw on to the tube and stay put. Thankfully the bigger tubes you can order individually have different caps. The set is still worth the price...I have gotten a lot of use out of it but I will be ordering the individual tubes in the future as I run out of the paint from the set. This paint has really caused me to fall in love with acrylic painting.

    Greater than one week

Bought the 36 and only got 24. There were only 5 out of the 6 trays. one was completely empty and another was missing paint tubes. Update: ARTEZA customer service handled it with speed and integrity. Kudos to them for fixing Amazon sending a return rather than a new product.

I love Arteza Acrylics. First purchased them in 2018 on Amazon. The paint dried out because of the cap. have since bought them in stores.....the colors are beautiful. spread nicely . However using them often and screwing the tops off and on several times the outer top of the cap cracks in a full circle and dries out the paint. other than that I would give them 5 stars
