> 3 dayI recently bought this set of 24 Premium acrylic paints based on the colors in the set and the lightfastness rating, thinking that a painting using these paints would last a very long time...wrong! IMO, Arteza was very sneaky in how they list their lightfast ratings. They use the ASTM (American Standard of Test Measure) scale of I-III, with I being 100s of years and a III being 15-50 years. When you look on their tubes or their boxes, every color got a III, with the exception of Orange Yellow, which got a II. This means that if I want to sell one of my paintings using these paints, I can not in good conscience, as I know this painting is going to start fading very quickly. This is extremely important to me! Other student grade paints like Liquitex Basics use the same lightfast system, but 44 of their 48 (set) got Is and the other four colors received a rating of II. Artezas paints though beautifully packaged, smooth to paint and having a lovely range of colors will be going back. If the years these paints are going to retain their original color or hue is not important to you, then this is a great set. They just do not work for me.

Greater than one weekThis paint is more like tube paint in a bottle rather than liquid paint in the bottle. It worked out okay for the sponge painting I was doing. But was too thick for the dot work and thinning it was a challenge for this part of the project. It did thin out well for base coating. It was hard at times to get the seal off cleanly at times. Others came off without a mess. You may want to rethink the seal, getting paint all over your hands because it spurts out of the bottle, and your not squeezing it, is the pits. If you are looking for liquid acrylic paint keep looking. Other this could be worth giving a try. The colors are nice, its just definitely not a liquid acrylic paint! Its more like something you would get out of a tube acrylic paint. In this regard I was definitely disappointed as I was looking for liquid acrylic paint. It does give nice coverage, even in the base coat.

> 3 dayLove everything . VIBRANT colors I dont buy any other paint to paint pour with it cost a little more but WELL WORTH IT. Will always look for what I need at ARTEZA 1ST Great for beginners & MIXES PERFECT for a smooth pour. & Color isnt affected when mediums are added. I do wish the small sets came in plastic tubes because I reuse them & the metal ones you cant. But the smaller tubes are perfect for traveling to paint classes or with friends. My granddaughter even had a paint pour birthday party. AWESOME!

> 3 dayExtremely easy to use and open. Had no problems with it and it is for beginners most of all, so yes you will have to do layers most of the time. It’s really fun and I love the gold color!!!

> 3 dayThis paint is my favorite that I have tried so far! The colors are so vibrant and the variety is awesome too. I just wish we could buy individual colors and not have to buy the whole set again. There are quite a few colors Id definitely stock up on! If thats an option, someone tell me! It dries pretty fast and stays opaque. Its great. Ive been using it to paint a lot, if you wanna see my IG is boopinsnootssince96

> 3 dayI love Arteza Acrylics. First purchased them in 2018 on Amazon. The paint dried out because of the cap. have since bought them in stores.....the colors are beautiful. spread nicely . However using them often and screwing the tops off and on several times the outer top of the cap cracks in a full circle and dries out the paint. other than that I would give them 5 stars

> 3 dayAfter being laid off my job because of the corona pandemic, I decided to try my hand at painting. I’ve always played in the art world, mainly drawing with color pencils, never painting. After watching lots of acrylic painting tutorials on YouTube, I learned that a lot of artist favored Golden brand acrylics. I bought a small beginner set and created a couple fun pieces. During the holidays I saw that this 60 piece Arteza set was offered at almost half price. At full price it is close to the price of the Golden brand very small beginner set. I cannot say enough about these paints! I love all the color options (less mixing to get the color desired) Most colors become opaque in 2-3 coats. (Same as Golden) Paints do not dry as fast on the palette as the Golden brand but dry quickly enough on the canvas. If you need to replace colors, I did not fine these small tubes but Amazon offers a 4.06 oz. size of most colors. For the money these paints will now be my go to.
