I love this paint! It really allows you to use less than other paints and it’s such a smooth spread. Will stick with this brand!

For little arts and craft jobs this works great. We used it for some ceramic garden gnomes we had and having all the colors was great. Not sure how well the paint would do in the direct weather; might have to touch up every once in a while. But so far the pain has been good and still vibrant on some of our indoor pieces.

Great pigmentation - a little goes a long way. Bright colors, good texture (slippery smooth, but not watery). Wide selection of shades. I would never pay full price, because theyre pretty expensive, and theyre not THAT great... But at the sale price of $25, I definitely feel that I got my moneys worth.

You can make some really cool stuff with this paint but I do have some reservations. I do appreciate paint that dries fast but in my opinion this paint dries too fast. Blending colors is difficult because by the time your ready to blend one color to the next the first one has dried already. Also this paint doesnt spread as nicely as some other heavy paints (for example soho). I combatted both these problems by adding a little water to my paint. Despite these complaints most of the colors are very vibrant and i love the shine it has when it dries. I don’t waste paint and have been working with it for a few months. It may take some time to get use to it but you can get use to it. ( also nvm my chunky baby giraffe im certainly not an expert)

I recently bought this set of 24 Premium acrylic paints based on the colors in the set and the lightfastness rating, thinking that a painting using these paints would last a very long time...wrong! IMO, Arteza was very sneaky in how they list their lightfast ratings. They use the ASTM (American Standard of Test Measure) scale of I-III, with I being 100s of years and a III being 15-50 years. When you look on their tubes or their boxes, every color got a III, with the exception of Orange Yellow, which got a II. This means that if I want to sell one of my paintings using these paints, I can not in good conscience, as I know this painting is going to start fading very quickly. This is extremely important to me! Other student grade paints like Liquitex Basics use the same lightfast system, but 44 of their 48 (set) got Is and the other four colors received a rating of II. Artezas paints though beautifully packaged, smooth to paint and having a lovely range of colors will be going back. If the years these paints are going to retain their original color or hue is not important to you, then this is a great set. They just do not work for me.

These are pretty good for beginners and for the price. You get a great selection of colors. The only thing I really didnt care for is they have quite a bit of shine to them when dried, I prefer paint with a matte finish. Maybe that was indicated in the item description and I missed it, otherwise, they are ok.

I purchased this with the intention of painting an aquarium ornament however, I thought this contained 12-colors and therefore would only need one. Purchasing one only afforded me 6-colors and none of them were in the cool color range. I have not yet used them.

I paint dot mandalas, and this paint is awesome for dotting! The colors are bright and vibrant. These paints need to be thinned for dotting, Floetrol works awesome for this. The paint is highly pigmented, so thinning doesn’t cause any noticeable color changes. A little bit goes a long way. The colors on the tubes don’t match the actual color in the tubes, the actual colors are much better! For dotting I use small paint pots, available here on Amazon. I bought the Arteza metallic set as well, which is awesome. Good value, Well worth the price!

I bought these paints for my artistic grandkids. They have used them on paper, cardboard and wood. The bottles make it easy for them to dispense and mix the paints with little mess.
