> 3 dayI looked at a few similar models before choosing this one. It was ~$35 more than a similar 1080p 60Hz panel, and I’m happy to say the higher resolution is absolutely worth the extra cash. I wanted something that would work well with the steam deck, and this is exactly what I wanted. The 13.3” screen is exactly the right size to fit in laptop bag with a MacBook, and is much closer to a MacBook’s native resolution than a 1080p screen would have been. Personally I think the 15.6” displays would be too large to use on a plane/train. The colors are solid (especially when sitting beside a TN / VA panel) and the brightness is more than adequate. As you would hope from an IPS panel, the colors look much better than the steam deck’s built in display. There is a little rocker switch on one edge to easily dim the screen. The resolution and ratio are perfect for steam deck users who have their games set to 800p resolution. Since this monitor is 1600p, the games run at the same FPS as in handheld mode, but look larger and nicer. Of course you can set the games to a higher resolution if desired. Some lighter games looked great at 1200p, for instance. You can just connect the steam deck’s power supply to one USB C port, then use the included USB C cable to connect the steam deck to the other port. It instantly recognizes the display at 1600p 60Hz and continues to charge the steam deck through the monitor (and no slow charger warning!). I don’t have a scientific way to measure input delay, but it feels snappy like a normal monitor, not like an old TV without a game mode. The cover is fine for keeping the screen safe, but only okay as a stand. It’s not as bad (yet) as others have said, but may collapse in the event of turbulence or its table getting bumped. Works fine for sitting stationary though. My panel has a small amount of backlight bleed on the bottom but only when the screen goes all black, and it’s not enough to knock a star off over. Really surprised to see something this capable under $200.

> 3 dayI looked far and wide for a portable, USB-powered monitor that would fit in my already very crowded, very small desk. This was the perfect solution. Not only is it physically smaller than most of the others on the market (13.3 vs the standard 15.6 offerings from most companies) but it also has SIGIFICANTLY better resolution than standard 1080p. Not only that, but its 16:10 aspect ratio, which if you are a mac user, is the aspect ratio you are probably used to seeing (as opposed to 16:9 which is the ratio of most PC-based screens and most TVs) It only has one con and its barely a con at all. It doesnt have the darkest black. Maybe theres a way I can configure/tweak the color settings (which, by the way the OSD menu is easy to use and has quite a few more options than many full size desktop monitors)... but at the price and with all of its other features, this is nearly impossible to beat. It is supplied with all of the needed cables for practically any situation, as well as a power adapter if you happen to be plugging it into a device that uses HDMI or wont send power down the USB-C port. Using a laptop, it should only need to be plugged into the supplied USB-C cable directly to the computer, and it works like a champ. Its hard to believe this thing is at the low price that it is. I was expecting to finally stumble onto a portable monitor that fits all my demanding specifications and have it cost 2-3x what the standard ones cost. But no, this is actually CHEAPER!

Greater than one weekLove this. I have another similar monitor but its really bulky and the stand has to be stuck to the monitor with adhesive. I love that this monitors stand/case can be easily removed and put back on.

> 3 dayI needed a small secondary monitor for my stream set up for OBS/chat/discord. This works PERFECTLY and fits right underneath my main monitor! Super thin and lightweight. There was a slight issue with the mini HDMI cord but the seller was very responsive and able to remedy the situation! Very happy with this purchase!

> 3 dayI recently got a promotion, and with the new gig came the realization that I ABSOLUTELY needed a second monitor. I work from home, and love being free to work from anywhere in my home or on the road, so this posed a problem. I thoroughly researched portable external monitors, and landed on this one. SO glad I did. It’s easy to use (literally just plugs into my MacBook Air), great definition, great visibility, full sized screen. I’m truly free to work from anywhere now. As far as cons go, I don’t really see any, other than the normal complaint that goes along with a MacBook Air. USB-C access is at a minimum. So I really can only have this screen and the power plugged in at one time. I tried plugging the screen in through a port to give access to more usb ports, but it doesn’t work. Luckily my keyboard and mouse don’t need usb to connect, so this isn’t an issue for me. And honestly, this is a MacBook issue, not a screen one. It needs to connect somehow, and it does it easily and well. Absolutely fantastic screen!

> 3 dayAwesome screen just be aware not all cables are created equal. It wont work with any old cable only high quality cables or the ones it comes with. The one it comes with can transmit data AND power, but old cables will make it automatically default to sleep mode.
