> 24 hourAt first I had my doubts, bc I was using the cheapest clearcoat I could find with my 30 yr old hvlp devilbiss flg gun. It would not lay down smooth even with a 1.4 tip and thinned 20%. So then I got this, and used the same paint with slow reducer and slow activator. This thing lays out clearcoat like glass! I think bc its high efficiency is why I can spray as low as 15psi...thats not a typo, 15 psi and it atomizes as good as it does at 27psi. It even atomizes ok as low as 10psi! The only difference is way less overspray at the lower pressures. The spray pattern is super wide as well. (with higher pressure). The atomization of this gun is simply incredible! And it is so easy to clean. What I do is disconnect the air then open up the trigger and spray some carb cleaner through the gun until it begins running out clear. then I take it apart and do the final cleaning. I also have diaphragm type regulator, the cheapies dont cut it for me. I used to hate painting, now I love it! :-)

> 24 hourBought this to replace the Porter Cable one I bought years ago I lost in a move. Never really worked as well. Gave it a shot with several different laquers but it never sprayed heavy enough even with the needle wide opeb

> 24 hourCould only get the gun to provide about a 3-4 inch fan. Had a super hard time try to obtain adequate coverage without streaking. Would not recommend.

> 24 hourI actually like this gun in terms of spray performance, but OMG is it an air hog! If you have a massive compressor this gun will do fine, but otherwise be prepared to take some breaks to allow the air to recover. I have two compressors feeding a line with an additional 20 gallon tank. So, one 30 gallon 2 hp, 5.8 CFM at 90 psi compressor AND one 20 gallon 5 hp (probably false claim on label) 6.2 CFM at 90 psi feeding another 20 gallon tank. Update: I dropped a star because the gun had sever issues with clogging, both the air horn nozzles and the fluid needle clog up with high build primer. The reason someone buys a gun with large needle is for primer, this one just doesnt cut it. It also ends up with primer dripping down the face of the air cap, just not quite there.

> 24 hourWas skeptical of it because of price and no real reviews! Few parts easy to clean up good quality spray gun. I have used sata, devibiss, Sharpe, and yes the ever so cheap hb guns but in my opinion the painter and his experience makes all the difference. This gun worked perfectly withmy small air compressor due to its low air consumption and laid down base and cheap clear beautifully! (Didnt even have to cut and buff) in my opinion best gun for the money and perfect for do it yourself er! Only flaw is cup filter has plastic filter that inserts which has tab which makes contact with fluid needle and make it stick open ruining a good paint job.....cut off tab and every thing will work properly! Save yourself the time of reviewing and comparing other guns and prices BUY THIS GUN!

> 24 hourThe glaze is rather caustic so the gun wears and has to be replaced but I can’t live without it. Works fantastic!
