> 3 dayASUS chrome display 14; but the body of laptop itself is about 8.25 x 12.25 approx. The Keyboard is backlit. Sanforin brand 11.6 Sakura keyboard skin cover exactly fits this ASUS 14. // I am NOT yet used on how to use a mouse pad where is its right and left click? It did not come with instructions. TESTED: It is touchscreen. Fast recharge even from zero; which means no problem on battery life. It has a type A USB thumb drive, and it has SD or eMMC additional storage slot. Silver is slightly very light blue which I like, same as Microsoft Surface Pro, light blue. The carrying weight is 3.3 lbs; but it seems lighter about 2.5 lbs with close cover and held in the middle. / ASUS Chrome has no MS Office but I am used to ASUS Documents more or less like MS Word less subscription fees [$10/month]. Then ASUS file on its own File. Later, this ASUS will be my gift to one of my students.

> 3 dayHaving always used Windows, and therefore completely new to Chromebook, it is a definate learning curve. I feel hampered as Ive only ever used Microsoft type computers and being elderly may have slowed my learning speed.

06-06-2025the size, colors and screen are very nice. i just need it for checking emails, playing games and paying some bills so it does the trick. The battery drains quite quickly though.

> 3 dayJust got this as a replacement for the amazing Asus C302 Chromebook. Our house is all Macbook, but I like the simplicity of the Chromebooks. Pros: screen, speed, looks, much improved sound. Cons: when the screen is open to view, past vertical, the computer, unlike the C302, rises up in back and rests on its hinges, which is odd, since it is not sitting on its feet in back. Design flaw or planned?

> 3 dayI got this chrome book primarily for writing purposes and I’m so glad I did. I love the touch screen, it has a decent battery life but my favorite part? Oddly enough is the keys! I love that they are backlit but the softness of the click makes it comfortable to type. Whenever I go to upgrade my main laptop I will definitely be looking for something with the same type of keyboard.

> 3 dayI have to use headphones to watch my college lectures because the speakers are too quiet. Sometimes it locks up on a black screen - I use the power button + refresh to restart it. Outside of these issues, I’ve had no trouble with it. I don’t use the touchscreen very often but have had no issue with it when I do. I use a wireless mouse, not the built in pad, so I can’t speak to its quality. Sometimes the keyboard light isn’t bright enough but it’s fine.
