> 3 dayI was nervous about switching to a Chromebook, but so far its only been amazing. Battery life is excellent, the OS is easy to get used to, and the flip screen is great for Netflix in bed. Great value.

> 3 dayLove the laptop but wife nor I can see the keyboard during day. The white letters on silver blend in too much. Sent first one back thinking the brightness adj wasn’t working right but replacement same way so returning it too. Have it a fair chance but not something for elders or someone with bad eyes

> 3 dayWhy is the consumer treated like little more than a profit point by these corporations? I would prefer a decently priced laptop that wasnt so locked into that ideal. Its not a good trade off. Something that is slightly useful only because google seems to own the internet. This why I returned this. Too tied to google. Too data mined for their profit. As heavy as it is I would not expect it to flex as much as it does. I wonder if it has had weight added to it just give the illusion it is built better than it is.

> 3 dayI am an avid ASUS hardware fan. Laptops, monitors, tablets, and now a Chromebook. I love that this Chromebook feels solid and well-built with its aluminum body. I have been and always will be a Windows user, but I am so impressed with this Chromebook. It boots fast, all the apps I need for everyday basic needs are there and work great (Chrome, Zoom, Docs, YouTube, Messaging). Sorry, Windows, but I havent had any lockups or crashes. I love that I can use it as a laptop and then fold the keyboard back and use it as a tablet. The touch screen is responsive, and the image quality is crisp. ASUS has done an excellent job with this device. I like the feel of the keyboard and the fact that it is backlit is important too when lighting conditions make it difficult to see. I highly recommend this little laptop/tablet. Solid piece of hardware!

> 3 dayOK. Two complaints. Screen could be brighter. But main complaint is this hard to see keyboard. Its silver with white light thru the small letters/numbers. Impossible to see in the daytime and not a whole lot better at night. Its a great chrombook other than this.

> 3 dayya its good for the money, the keyboard colour is crap, hard to see if not in the right light... but..you can buy a cover/overlay for 25 and then its fine, I have three asus laptops and they have all lasted well and well constructed. For the price i paid for this one its excellent, i dont think you will find a better lappy for the price,, and being a modern chromebook you can install linux apps, store your stuff offline,, it has a really good screen, its fast, and for the price (i paid 500 au dollars , i dont think you will find anything as good and as functional as this item. If your on a tight budget, and you want something decent and useful, this will do the job,

> 3 dayI love this Chromebook. With the convertible configuration (laptop/tablet/tent) and the touchscreen plus a pretty quick processor it’s hard to beat for everyday use. This goes everywhere with me. Definitely recommend!
