Causes random blue screens with Ram set at anything but stock speeds. cant use XMP at all which was the whole point of upgrading. Stay far away

Was working until it didnt. One of the channels of ram decided to stop working around 2 months of use

This will be a bit of a lengthy review. I received this board for a new PC build and got to work. The board looks very nice aesthetically. Unfortunately my board was defective, and it took me several hours to realize that the issue was with the motherboard. The issue I was having was that the mouse pointer would be stuck on the screen, rapidly shaking back and forth. These are the steps I took to narrow it down to a defective motherboard:

EDIT: With the bios update, it now supports 5600 mhz DDR5

I got the i9-13900 and the fast DDR5. I seriously considered getting the Z790, assuming it was much better. But, I read up on the performance, they are identical. The real difference is the Z690 needed a BIOS update to work with this new i9, otherwise the Z790 has one more USB port, maybe?

MB quickly assembled and worked well without issue but for trouble in getting a reasonable memory score with the new DDR5.

12th gen ready. Oc abilities. What more do you need? Always check ram compatibility when purchasing a motherboard. Picked my ddr5 right off their specific list. Golden.

Plenty of M.2 slots, Pcie, Pump & Fan connections. Good hardware to support High end cpus. I benchmarked my computer with this Mobo and it ranked 99% in the world against other computers.
