> 24 hourDDR5 bios still pretty new. Don’t expect DDR5 speeds without a lot of tweaking.

> 24 hourI purchased the ASUS Prime Z690-A motherboard to run my Intel I-9 12th gen cpu, only to find DDR5 was not available. After waiting two months, it was finally available! I purchased and installed it and...the network LAN Controller would not respond to driver installs. So working with ASUS Tech Support, I was told the LAN Controller was defective and to either return it to vender or send it to them for repair. I returned to vender and they promptly replaced it. But after installing, the new motherboard, the network LAN Controller had exactly the same problem (Windows could not find a driver and the ASUS driver disk could not finish a LAN install). Got back to Tech Support, and they did the same troubleshooting with no result. They escalated to level 2 Trouble Shooting which was more of the same, but now they suggested return for repair or get a NIC card. I anticipated this might be the case and had already ordered one. I got the internet working and was able to complete Windows setup. I had decided to leave the onboard LAN enabled just the same, and within a few days I checked Network Adapters and it was installed. I am happy that it is working, but it was not the process I expected. So glad I did not have to return to ASUS as they were unaware of how to resolve this issue. I decided to share this experience and how I resolved it in case others have the same issue. I have also shared this fix with ASUS Tech Support. Everything is working fine so far. No problem running the DDR5 RAM.

> 24 hourEs muy buena motherboard, las características que ofrece y conectividad no las ofrece fácilmente otra motherboard de algún otro fabricante en esta misma gama y por el precio realmente vale la pena,

> 24 hourThere is not a bios flashback feature on this board. You need the current bios version before you can use 13th gen i9 13900k. The only way to get the bios update is by installing a 12th gen cpu and updating the bios then install the 13th gen cpu. Z790 ddr5 boards are hard to find and cost around 630 dollars. If your stuck at a dram yellow error light like me, buy a cheap cpu for 100 bucks and update bios.

> 24 hourI love the way this mobo looks in my white build! Havent had any issues after heavy use. The only downside I could dig up was the fact that it doesnt have onboard wifi or Bluetooth. You have to buy that separately. But that aside its amazing.

> 24 hourThis does NOT work 13th Gen CPU (unless your BIOS is over ver. 2004), kind of a crapshoot, sure to get better over time. But if not, the only way to update it is to have a 12th gen cpu on hand to boot and do bios installs first.

> 24 hourIf you are going to be using 13th gen you will need to update the bios before use.
