> 3 dayI purchased the ASUS Prime Z690-A motherboard to run my Intel I-9 12th gen cpu, only to find DDR5 was not available. After waiting two months, it was finally available! I purchased and installed it and...the network LAN Controller would not respond to driver installs. So working with ASUS Tech Support, I was told the LAN Controller was defective and to either return it to vender or send it to them for repair. I returned to vender and they promptly replaced it. But after installing, the new motherboard, the network LAN Controller had exactly the same problem (Windows could not find a driver and the ASUS driver disk could not finish a LAN install). Got back to Tech Support, and they did the same troubleshooting with no result. They escalated to level 2 Trouble Shooting which was more of the same, but now they suggested return for repair or get a NIC card. I anticipated this might be the case and had already ordered one. I got the internet working and was able to complete Windows setup. I had decided to leave the onboard LAN enabled just the same, and within a few days I checked Network Adapters and it was installed. I am happy that it is working, but it was not the process I expected. So glad I did not have to return to ASUS as they were unaware of how to resolve this issue. I decided to share this experience and how I resolved it in case others have the same issue. I have also shared this fix with ASUS Tech Support. Everything is working fine so far. No problem running the DDR5 RAM.

> 3 dayinstalled i7 13 Gen processor and ddr5 & Board would not post. found out that it has an old bios that doesnt support 13 gen cpus, so you would need to buy a 12 gen CPU to be able to run your 13th gen CPU cuz you have to update the BIOS with the 12th in first for the 13th gen to work. Found that out after paying 200 bucks at geek squad

> 3 dayI bought this one by mistake and I missed the return period. Not having integrated wifi is a huge problem as a ax wifi card will cost you more than $40 and it has to be pci-e (several nvme m.2 but none key a+e. Having a wifi Antenna on the pci-e port preventa yiur for using SLI unless you spend more money on an extender. Also the second port for a graphic card is so low that basically you have a special case to accommodate a Full ATX motherboard and extra room below for a graphic card? Crazy. Too many flaws.

> 3 dayIt has just about all the bells and whistles that the high end boards have except maybe a few NVME drives or in some cases maybe a few extra PCI-E 5.0 lanes. No issues so far, its basically on the bleeding edge of current tech for the masses with nvme 4.0, DDR5 and the latest high end Intel CPUs. Lots of customization in the bios, you have a plethora of choices to choose from if your in to tweaking and OCing.

Greater than one weekI wanted to do quick upgrade but did not notice the DDR5 on the box. The cost of the RAM is not worth it!

> 3 dayThis motherboard will not post with the 13th gen intel CPU. The only option is to use a 12th gen CPU to upgrade the bios so that it will function. Itll cost me another $100 to get this done locally.

Greater than one weekProduct sat on a counter for months as I saved up for other parts and upon opening the box I learned that the cpu pins on this board were damaged rendering it completely useless so I am down 300 dollars. Please open this after its delivered, I cant return this because I waited too long and bought pieces over time.

> 3 dayEase of installation, many BIOS/UEFI options. Also, very good choice to buy it second hand from Amazon.
