Muy buena laptop, funciona genial con solidworks y da buenos fps en los videojuegos, lo único malo es que a los 7 meses de uso diario uno de los ventiladores suena como motor de automóvil y hablando de los ventiladores - no tienen un buen control de revoluciones como las lenovo por lo que siempre habrá ruido, pero si mantienen los procesadores a buena temperatura.

Two days before the warranty expired my laptop simply wouldnt turn on. I tried trouble shooting the problem to no avail. I was going to call customer service but assumed Id need the sales receipt to take advantage of the warranty. The laptop was purchased as a gift, so I had to contact that person to get the receipt. By the time I spoke with customer service the warranty had been expired one day. It turns out I didnt need the receipt anyway. They refused to honor the warranty because I had missed it by a day. I took it to a computer repair person and found out that my power adapter was defective and that the mother board was fried. The cost for repair was almost the cost of the laptop brand new. I contacted ASUS again to see how much they charged to replace a motherboard. They refused to tell me, instead insisting that I pay an $85 diagnostic fee. My local technician didnt charge for the diagnostic. I had bought my son the same laptop and the technician confirmed that his power adapter was also defective, giving inconsistent power levels.

Por lo que estás pagando ($14k cuando yo la compré) no hay mejor opción, el CPU y GPU funcionan de la manera esperada y corren la mayoría de los juegos (overwatch, fortnite, GTA 5) a buena calidad (1080 +60 fps). Lo único que debes agregar es más almacenamiento ya que los 256 gb se van a llenar rápidamente.

As soon as the laptop arrived I had to deal with technical difficulties. The laptop comes with an integrated GPU alongside the GTX 1650, mine only used the integrated one which is practically worthless. I wanted to set the GTX card as the default GPU and the only two ways to do so are either through the BIOS or the Nvidia control panel. The BIOS didnt give me an option to change the GPU, and the Nvidia control panel refused to launch, apparently the GTX 1650 has issues either related to the hardware itself, or with the drivers. the Windows device manager detects it, but says its not functioning, Ive installed, uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers and multiple different versions of the drivers and nothing helped.

Random disconnections to Wi-Fi that can only be resolved by troubleshooting or disabling the driver/restarting it. I deleted/reinstalled the driver and changed all the power saving options to not cut off the wireless capability... Still, it happens randomly. Im still testing a few things out, but if it all fails. It will remain 1 star... A solid 4.5 star machine if it didnt have this issue.

I’ve bought and used a lot of laptops over the last few years and this one ranks near the top. The overall performance is very good and I’m able to play some hi-end games easily. That is, as long as I don’t run it on “silent mode”. And I don’t really need to anyway because this machine is quiet compared to others I’ve used. Best to reserve silent mode to non-resource-intensive applications like word processing. The keys feel good while typing, strong and well-built without that clacky noise. I also like the extra wide spacebar.

Everything works wonderfully, the only drawback is that the wireless adapter installed with the laptop didnt work. This could just be a specific case scenario and that i just got a faulty hardware in 1 in a 100000 chance, but it is what it is. I had to buy a Netgear wireless adapter to attach to the laptop via USB and it connected to the internet perfectly fine after. It isnt a huge deal but for someone that maybe doesnt want to spend the extra 40 dollars for an adapter that should already be installed, it could be a negative. Again this could be a very low chance and that i got unlucky but something to keep in mind. Thanks!

No he podido utilizarla para jugar mucho pero lo poco ha funcionado bien, utilizo mucho el Photoshop y jala perfecto.
