> 3 dayAfin de remplacer un écran plus petit Asus aussi mais qui commençait par lusage et le temps à ne plus me donner satisfaction. Sur les conseils de mon technicien en informatique, jai donc acheté ce modèle par le biais dAmazon à moindre coût. Le service fût rapide et lappareil me satisfait totalement. Jai toutefois une remarque à faire sur le site de commande dAmazon où lappât de largent est omniprésent. Cest désagréable.

> 3 dayOverall great display. I bought it for a 2nd display for my gaming/studio PC. It has excellent present modes such as dark mode and reading mode to really take that brightness away without things getting too washed out. I wouldnt reccomend this as a primary gaming display for anything high end, but if your specs arent going to get you any higher fps than 75fps (think console specs) then its great as it has freesync and anti tearing! The eye care charts are really neat great way to keep an eye on your eyes without paying fees! Honestly this display is designed to work well in the office, as a register, or as a gaming display. Fine tuning even makes for decent movie watching as well. Only thing Im not a fan of is there is a large bezel at the back bottom of the unit which causes the cables to put pressure on the port. I could see thr port disconnecting from the board over time. I reccomend getting a hinged hdmi cable Pros: versatile preset display modes, light weight, easy to install sturdy stand, Vesa mount compatible, easy to use, cables included. Cons: design causes pressure on cable ports when using provided cables.

> 3 dayOut of box, removed old hdmi monitor and put this in its place. Screen powered on the asus splash screen, no blue line hooked to computer via included hdmi cable. Monitor flickers multiple times showing the desktop and the black for 5-10 seconds, it does this for about a minute. It settles down and displays the desktop, but there is a top to bottom right down the middle blue line. Its just slightly noticeable but the left side of screen was just a shad shad of brightness different. Ok, so I unplug both ends of hdmi cable and plug back in, again, a minute of flickering screen, I swap my old cable in, same line, so not the cables fault. I use AMD driver to create a custom resolution setting a 75hz and leaving everything else unchanged, I apply it, screen still has line. I press power button on and off, line still there. I start fiddling with AMD settings, every feature I turn on/off, the screen goes and does the flicker to black for 3-10 seconds multiple times... I then unplug power and plug back in, asus splash screen, no blue line... screen go black and then the desktop shows, no blue line. I give the VY279HE a 3 rating because even if the line never returns, I will always know it was there once, and product confidence has been shattered and will always wonder if it will return, probably the day after the warranty expires. As far as product usage after the incident, its been 3 hours, screen looks great. My only complaint would the be the stupid location and design on the power/control button. Its a micro joystick, like a thumb pad from a ps4/xbox controller and its on the back out of easy reach, esp with side by side screens.

> 3 dayThis monitor gives you a ton of control over how your display will look. I like the vibrant vivid colours it can produce but you can also set it to a more realistic looking picture. Its sturdy with a metal stand. No speakers but a phone jack. Had it for several months and it works good as new.

> 3 dayThis has been a really great monitor for the price. I mostly use it to play PS4 and occasionally when I work from home. It performs really well when playing Playstation, had to tweak the display settings a bit, but found a sweet spot. Having the 3.5mm output on the back is nice for consoles, I just plugged in a small soundbar to the monitor for sound. All in all a great monitor, especially for the price.
