Easy install. Its made a big difference in air temperature. Worth the price. Well made.

I have installed tent and I feel its is working very well with the Heat/Air and keeping the house cooler. But I believe I will have to wait 3 more electric bills to see the real difference. Ordering was very easy. Took about 30 minutes to put in.

I simply lined it up around my attic hatch, stapled it in place with 3/8 (10mm) staples. Then used an expanding foam sealant around the inside base to seal it. My thermostat is almost directly below my attic stairs. Previously, it would either run continously, or not at all. I can immediately see an improvement and expect to see lower energy bills as a result.

Want to lower your electric bill pronto? Get this buddy. It is absolutely fantastic and since I live in texas, the attic can seriously get to be 150+ degrees. Considering we have a two story house and our bedrooms are upstairs... it was immediately noticeable at nighttime even when the sun isnt out. I highly recommend this item. Kind of price but Im telling you... its worth it!

I installed this in about an hour (mostly because I caulked every single seam and board) and from having the air conditioner running all day, now it runs only about once. The temperature stays constant all throughout the day after installing this, it truly made a difference like night and day for my energy needs. Definitely paid off.

Like the design, easy to install and seems to work as good, or better, than I hoped. My only concern is the zipper doesnt seem as heavy duty as I had hoped. It may be fine, and maybe a special zipper to form an air tight zip, but I plan to treat the zipper gently because if that fails, the whole thing is useless.

I think the insulating material is too thin because the heat from the attic will penatrate the tent in a matter of hours and it will be just as hot inside the tent as it is in the attic. It is hard for me to tell if the tent does in fact lower the temperature during the summer because before I installed the tent I used insulating strips along the perimater of the attic door to form a seal at the cracks and that alone lowered the temperature 2 or 3 degrees, and then I installed the tent and the tent made no difference in the temperature. To test the effectiveness of the tent properly I would have to remove the insulating strips from the attic door and then see if the tent alone lowers the temperature, something I have not done and dont really want to. Note that I installed it properly and used caulking along the edges to make it air tight. This tent might work better in the winter than in the summer since I havent tried it out during the winter yet.

We have a house with a drop down attic stair, and the upstairs was always freezing in the winter (we live in Boston). We have tried three different kinds of these, and they have all not really worked or werent good quality, etc. This one is good because the zippers allow you to go in and out as much as you want without having to do any extra meneuvering. And you can tell it is keeping the cold air in the attic. One note, when measuring, you can totally round up. I got one size bigger since we were in between and it was perfect.

Glad I paid more for this bigger size. It seemed to look the easiest to install and I was correct. I easily installed it (complete with all the chaulking to the frame prior to stapling and after as recommended) by myself.

Installed it in less than an hour. DIY saved me several hundred dollars.
