Greater than one weekI ordered them in February of 2016 and when I received them, they were great. Great audio quality, comfortable and seemingly nothing wrong with them. Im not very knowledgeable on the specifics of sound but I thought they sounded good and thats about all Ill say about it. In around a year and a half, the ear pads were disintegrating, I simply ordered new ones. In around 3 years time, the hinge on the right side had snapped, I contacted Audio Technica about an out of warranty repair and they quoted a £30 inspection fee even if no fault was found, £10 return fee if no fault was found, and if the repair was to go ahead, Id imagine more on top of that. Not to mention, all prices are without VAT. The cost simply isnt worth it, if they dont repair it, its still half the price of the headphones. I 3D printed a replacement piece instead that meant I could no longer fold them but at least I could use them. The part was already designed and available so it is clear that other people have also had this hinge break. Fast forward to today, around 4 and a half years later, the left hinge is now broken and I have now decided to order different headphones. Im quite disappointed about the durability of these, Ive never had any other cheap pair of headphones physically break, Im not rough with them, they simply broke when taking them off. For £80 I wouldve hoped that they would last a bit longer than 4 and a half years. All the electronics are still in perfect working order, but the plastic construction has let them down.

> 3 dayIm all about best bang for buck, especially when it comes to audio stuff. I recently bought the Superlux HD668B because of their great reviews, but was disappointed when I finally got to try them. They were clear and had great high end sound but lacked low end sound.

> 3 dayBest for Mastering and mixing. It has pure clear audio in deep. You can recognize every freaking element in a song separately like snare, hat, clap, drums etc. Also good for clubbing as it reduces the exterior sound and focuses on its own sound. Just buy it without any fear !!

> 3 dayMe gusta escuchar hard rock de los 80 y 90s y los ATH M40x resaltan mucho las guitarras y solos, se pueden definir como un sonido analítico debido a que su rango de frecuencia es plano. Se encarga de separar las frecuencias increíblemente, es decir, se escuchan los instrumentos de forma separada. Por su baja impedancia, se puede escuchar a gran volumen desde un celular, no necesita amplificación.

Greater than one weekI like the sound of these headphones. Apparently theyre neutral and flat, but dont take my word for it.

> 3 dayThe sound quality is great. Great true flat sound. Where these really shine is tracking. No pollution while recording. They feel a little flimsy, if you want a little more beefy, get the 50’s. They don’t leave my studio.
