> 3 dayComfortable to wear and comfortable to use with 8/10 sound quality. I can hear very subtle details on tracks with clarity. As a person who suffers from pressure sensitivity in the ears when using headphones this pair of headphones is no exception, though it takes much longer to begin reaching unbearable levels. It comes with two cords, one curled and one loose. The carrying case for this is a joke if you plan to carry it with you in a backpack or other luggage likely to get jostled about. Its just a fake leather drawstring bag.

> 3 dayAmazing pair of headphones. Sound quality is amazing for the price. Clear and crisp. Not as good as Bose and Sony but they are usually much more expensive. Comes with two extremely durable and convince the cables.

> 3 dayLos audífonos son excelentes para Home Studio, el material se ve que es resistente y como todo, va a depender mucho del uso y los cuidados que le des. La calidad de audio es excelente.

> 3 dayThe ATH-M40 is my go to headphones. A lot better than my DT-770, and doesnt require me to run through my headphone amp like the DT-770 did. One thing I dont care for that much are the swiveling ear pieces. Seems like Im always fighting with them to turn correctly so I can mount them on my ears. The comfort is okay, especially for a while; but then again I dont want to exceed too many hours, for the ears require some rest. Overall I AM going to purchase again, but Ill wait until they drop the price again to $80 (79.99). That is unless Sennheiser, decides to drop theirs first. ;-)

> 3 dayGreat headphones for the price. Got these over the more expensive M50x as online reviews stated that these have a flatter frequency response, which is ideal for music production. I mix on HS-8s and use these headphones for reference.

Greater than one weekI was looking for headphones that I could use for studio monitor headphones, and on a budget these sound great. Bass is tight but not muddy, mids are quite solid, and treble is clean and not ear-piercingly loud. The build is mostly plastic, but feels quite durable and can take some abuse, even after six months of use. The sound signature is flatter than the M50x or cheaper M30x phones, but that helps a lot for monitoring sound. If you want headphones for listening to music or cinema, look into those other models. But for monitoring, you cant really go wrong!

> 3 dayVery clean sound VERY nice construction quality. The reason I gave 4 stars because the bass is relatively weak.
