Aurifil A1050-2000 Mako Cotton Thread Solid 50WT 1422Yds Light Sand

A quilting friend recommended this thread to me and Ive been using it for a few months now. It is wonderful

I was required to purchase this for a quilting class for beginners I took. I have a new high quality machine and it was workable, but I did have some troubles. Even though I am new I was taught to buy good thread and shown why it makes a difference. This thread is good, I just had some troubles. Maybe it was me.

Great buy! It works just as great in the sewing machine as when I make hand quilting. Im very happy with it; will buy more and more colors very soon.

I use this brand exclusively for quilting. It is a cross wound thread so I do need to use a thread stand but I don’t mind. It isn’t fuzzy like a lot of brands which means my machine doesn’t have to be cleaned as often .

This is such a beautiful color to quilt with. It is strong and durable and an excellent buy for the money. I bought 3 spools and planning to buy many more soon. A very good purchase.

Wonderful thread! That’s all I use for piecing my quilts!!!!

Its a nice 50 weight that helped my seams more lay flat. The neutral color is great for piecing and for top stitching
