Aurifil makes a strong fine cotton that doesnt leave lint in your machine.

Its a nice 50 weight that helped my seams more lay flat. The neutral color is great for piecing and for top stitching

This thread is expensive for a reason. Ultra thin, silky smooth, strong. I wish I could afford to use it for all my quilting.

I put off becoming an Aurifil convert for too long. When you do the math it isnt even expensive, but it is far superior to other threads that Ive quilted with. No breaks, hardly any lint, smooth stitches. Now I need all of the colors.
