> 24 hourThey fell apart within 1 minute of use - Yes I said 1 minute- you are better off buying the brand name buffers because one of them will outlast 20 of these.

> 24 hourBought these to finish polishing an aluminum water pump and intake. They work ok but do wear quicker than their Dremel counterparts. I found that using my air powered die grinder with about half throttle and relatively low pressure helps to reduce the wear rate without reducing performance. As others have suggested, it would be nice if the bags (yes they came in plastic baggies) were labeled with the equivalent grit so I dont have to keep going back to the order details to figure out which one I want to use next. I also found that the metal ring in the middle of the buff can scrape the aluminum pretty easily if you arent careful and not having the quick release like the Dremel does slow down the process. Overall, they are worth the money as they are about 10% of the cost of the Dremel product at the local home improvement stores.

> 24 hourA lot of times I run into a small cleanup job, whether taking off light rust, removing corrosion, or similar. These are perfect for that type of work. Decent range of grits for rough cleaning, yielding surface to get into low spots, and its a quick put it into the handpiece and go with no wire bristles or radial brushes to fool with. Can also be used to put a scratch finish on a surface. Seem durable, and at only $0.20 each theyre a good value.

> 24 hourThese are consumable items. These dont last as long as Dremel and other name brand wheels, but they will get the job done through sheer, brute numbers. The only draw back for me was needing something a grit or two higher than what was provided. Still, a minor gripe considering the number of abrasive wheels you get for the price point. In my case I was cleaning off corrosion on aluminum wheels caused by road salts. This entire 100-peice set was ample enough to get all four wheels smoothed out. I recommend this set if you have a similar job or similar scope.

> 24 hourAs others have said, these are consumables. They might wear out a little bit faster than the expensive ones. But they are still a great value. I polished this tread plate, using two of each grit. There were a lot of holes and spots that would grab the buff and rip it up, if I wasnt careful. I polished mostly on the right edges, then spun it around and went again on the right edges. I started on a low speed, until I felt confident that I could stay off the left edges then sped the tool to medium. They wore out faster, but I was working faster too. Still a good value, and Ill continue to use these in the shop.
