Greater than one weekI used these wheels on a polishing job I was doing on ports on aluminum heads. Although the first few want okay (they dont last long at all), this particular one I didnt shove the shaft all the way into the chuck, but at least enough to grab the shaft of the bit quite a bit. Right on initial spin up, it bent from vibration/misaligned shaft. I never touched a single thing with it, just spun it up and it near vibrated the rotary tool right out of my hand. From then on I pushed the shaft of it all the way in and bottomed it out in the rotary tool and further usage in that way seemed to work. Know that the shaft of these bits are NOT hardened, and likely not expected from the price youre paying for them. Additionally, they last about 1 minute at most. On one head Ive managed to go through about 8 of these polishing bits. Its a good thing they give you a whole bunch of them because youll definitely chew through them!

> 3 dayAs others have said, these are consumables. They might wear out a little bit faster than the expensive ones. But they are still a great value. I polished this tread plate, using two of each grit. There were a lot of holes and spots that would grab the buff and rip it up, if I wasnt careful. I polished mostly on the right edges, then spun it around and went again on the right edges. I started on a low speed, until I felt confident that I could stay off the left edges then sped the tool to medium. They wore out faster, but I was working faster too. Still a good value, and Ill continue to use these in the shop.

> 3 dayI use these for buffing the edges pieces of wood/plywood after laser cutting to reduce the burn effect. They last as long as Dremel buffing wheels at a fraction of the cost. After using each buffing wheel on about a dozen small pieces of wood (example 2x2 squares) I have to replace the buffing wheel because the material has worn down. Thats the nature of the fiber material and i have no complaints. At this price, I happily replace the wheel and move on.

> 3 dayWith a lot of rotary tool going on in my shop right now these did the trick perfectly. I use them pretty agressively hence the durability stars, but its my fault.
