02-12-2024These are consumable items. These dont last as long as Dremel and other name brand wheels, but they will get the job done through sheer, brute numbers. The only draw back for me was needing something a grit or two higher than what was provided. Still, a minor gripe considering the number of abrasive wheels you get for the price point. In my case I was cleaning off corrosion on aluminum wheels caused by road salts. This entire 100-peice set was ample enough to get all four wheels smoothed out. I recommend this set if you have a similar job or similar scope.

> 3 dayThey wear out within seconds. Spend more time changing them then using them. Just another waste of money from offshore junk. It would be nice if Amazon would put country of origin.

> 3 dayLower cost option than purchasing the Dremel product. Great selection, great price, bulk quantity. I did not notice any difference in how long the discs lasted compared to the Dremel products. I use a lot of these for firearm polishing and find this the best option to purchase.

> 3 dayOk, so I got these as an experiment to try on a wood project that had tiny small areas to sand. They worked great but do wear down quickly depending on the item you are sanding. Ex, I was trying to sand down thick paint because stripper would not have worked well on the detailing areas. The coarse wheels lasted about 20 minutes at the most. Needless to say they have been working great and i have ordered more of them.

> 3 dayGreat value for what I needed, but I have one gripe about them. It gives their grit numbers as: brown, 120; green, 180; red, 320; and black, 400. Its good that they told us that, because I would not have known any other way. Im using them on copper sheets and he difference between the various grits is not very obvious. In fact, the results all look virtually identical.

> 3 dayI used these wheels on a polishing job I was doing on ports on aluminum heads. Although the first few want okay (they dont last long at all), this particular one I didnt shove the shaft all the way into the chuck, but at least enough to grab the shaft of the bit quite a bit. Right on initial spin up, it bent from vibration/misaligned shaft. I never touched a single thing with it, just spun it up and it near vibrated the rotary tool right out of my hand. From then on I pushed the shaft of it all the way in and bottomed it out in the rotary tool and further usage in that way seemed to work. Know that the shaft of these bits are NOT hardened, and likely not expected from the price youre paying for them. Additionally, they last about 1 minute at most. On one head Ive managed to go through about 8 of these polishing bits. Its a good thing they give you a whole bunch of them because youll definitely chew through them!
