Xbox series sの容量を増やす目的で購入。 スティック式で、小さくて取り回しも良くスピードも十分です。 専用の拡張SSDは2022年07月現在手に入らないですし、なにより本体並みに高い！ USB式の外部SSDの場合、X/Sに最適化されているゲームは動かないとされていますが、軽いゲームは動くようです。古いゲームは普通に動きます。 本体とこのSSDで容量をやり繰りしつつ、CloudGamingも併用すれば専用SSDは不要かな。 セールで買えたのでお安く済みました。

Comes with a detachable snap on cap that can be snapped on the rear of the drive when in use. Not ideal an option as drives that slide-toggle the connector are far more convenient, but thats about the only downside. The drive itself is roomy and speedy. Gets a bit warm in use but I was able to transfer 180gb without a hiccup. Long term durability is always in question, particularly these small form factor drives where component longevity will undoubtedly be stressed by the operating temperatures. We shall see.

I know the line tiny yet powerful gets thrown around alot, but I mean it for real here. The 500gb storage on this drive Im trying matches my internal SSD in space, yet plugs into a USB and fits on my keychain! In other words, I can back up my entire drive C: and carry it around with me. Thats awesome. And the speed is super impressive over a USB3 connection, pretty close to the advertised speed (It is plugged into a hub for this test, so expect real world direct connection to be slightly higher). I can understand why some people might prefer a USB-C version of this for modern laptops, but the computers Im using all offer USB3 in the full size A port, so no complaints here. I knew what I was getting and was NOT disappointed!

To give you an example of how fast this drive is, I took the AXE 500GB solid state USB drive, put a few movies on it and plugged it into my Sony TV. I have never ever been able to stream video through the USB port with standard thumb drives before, but now I can with this AXE SSD. It performs well and makes no sound at all being solid state!

Ok i bought this to solve two problems for me . 1st was my phone kept filling up with videos and took so long to transfer them online and 2 (i found this out after i bought it .) But this can speed up old laptops if you run the os off the slim ssd it can make a old laptop brand new literally speeding up every process . I didnt think it was possible but aftersearchimg on fiver i found someone to transfer all the data and then it speeds up the laptop alot . Very happy

It fits precisely in my USB port and feels well made. Data speeds are very fast, which is very handy if you are copying 100GB or more at a time.
