The drive works pretty well. It has a large capacity and really quick transfers. For a USB drive, it meets my needs. The capacity is 465GB (500GB advertised). It comes named Axe Drive. A speed test give me a write speed of 312 mb/s. The cap snaps on tight with an audible click. When not in use, it can attach to the back portion of the USB stick. The design is simple and sleek. I like the small hole in the back for connecting to a bag or keychain. This is a nice USB.

AXE MEMORY 500GB 外付SSDのレビューです。 一見するとUSBメモリーですが、SSDとの記載があり。 小型ながらも高速で読み書きができるデバイスです。 試しにベンチマークを走らせてみましたが カタログ値の最大読出速度600MB/s、最大書込速度500MB/s を超えており、636MB/s、623MB/sほどの速度が出ていました。 これだけ早ければテキストや画像ファイルだけではなく 動画やゲームデータなども手軽に持ち運べるので かなり使い勝手が良さそうです。

速度は申し分ないです。本体が金属製で、アクセスランプが付けば完璧ですがコスパ優先ですね。

Very lightweight and portable. It has the bulk and weight of many USB flash drives Ive used with much less capacity. Transfer rates are right in line with standard Sata rates (~550MB R/W) but it isnt as fast as some similarly sized drives which are rated for ~1000MB R/W but it is still pretty fast. It does get warm and slow down a bit on long transfers I found when test copying a large backup but almost all drives of this size do due to the lack of proper thermal dissipation which is normal. 4/5

Comes with a detachable snap on cap that can be snapped on the rear of the drive when in use. Not ideal an option as drives that slide-toggle the connector are far more convenient, but thats about the only downside. The drive itself is roomy and speedy. Gets a bit warm in use but I was able to transfer 180gb without a hiccup. Long term durability is always in question, particularly these small form factor drives where component longevity will undoubtedly be stressed by the operating temperatures. We shall see.

This SSD is great for my old laptop.

I tested many brands, this is 6 times faster than the nearest rivals.

The product packaging says this SSD is designed in Japan and made in Taiwan. The drive is very small and lightweight. Length is 2.2 inches with the cap on. It fits precisely in my USB port and feels well made. Data speeds are very fast, which is very handy if you are copying 100GB or more at a time. SSD technology should be more more reliable than those old USB flash drives.
