Greater than one weekWith my first baby I got a cheap bouncer seat with the vibrator in it available just about anywhere. It quickly became one of the more despised baby items and was donated. My experience with traditional baby bouncer seats is that babies do not like or notice the vibrator setting-its just a waste of money (they eat expensive batteries), they are bulky and feel cheaply made, they are very quickly outgrown, and are usually an eye sore (the baby stuff is cute at first but as a first time parent youll more than likely start to feel like you are drowning in a home full of cutesy baby things). The Baby Bjorn Bouncer resolves all of these issues and give you a truly durable and functional product well worth the money. The seat is preassembled (unlike most) which gives you one less thing to put together while preparing for baby-a big plus! It also collapses so that it can be stored very easily even in many narrow spaces. This is especially great when storing it for the next baby. I love that the seat design is simple, sleek, and light weight enough I can bring into any room of the house to have baby happily bounce right next to me. Another huge huge plus is how easy it is to wash. The cover simply slides off and goes right in the wash. No pulling or untangling the belt buckles to remove it-and it washes very nicely (i.e. No pilling!). Possibly what really makes this worth the price, is the longevity of use. Being able to use this through toddlerhood is what seals the deal-nor do I have to worry about my current toddler trying to use it when baby is not. I really wish I wouldve looked past the price tag of this seat with my first baby to see the true value in such a functional well designed baby product. Definitely a must have item for new (or new again!) parents! P.s. if price really is an issue consider buying an open box condition one from amazon for a great discount.

> 3 dayLove this bouncer. We have used it sense day one and for photo shoots; we just put a blanket over it... I wanted a bouncer that didnt have a plastic thing on the bottom that would potentially hurt my baby and I got it! Ive been using it now for 4 months and he still loves it. We still bounce him so I have gotten very good at multitasking but he has started bouncing himself recently as well. Im able to do homework with him right next to me, cook, clean, and eat dinner with him right there. Our little guy likes to be near us and watch what were doing so this is great! He also has really bad gas problems and has trouble laying on his back at night so we put him in this. Ive noticed that he doesnt writhe in pain sitting up as well. It does get dirty so we easily slip the cover off the metal frame and pop it in the washer, super easy! Also can easily move around the apartment. Love that its transportable also. It just folds down and doesnt take up a ton of space in the car.my husband and I are poor college students so Ive waited awhile to review on this product because I was so bitter about the price but Ive used it so much it certainly makes up for it! Great buy!

> 3 dayDid lots of research before buying this bouncer. I love it! The only downside is the buckles aren’t actual buckles and so I feel like eventually she will be able to escape or break them. Been using for 6 months now and never had an issue with it. This is an honest review from a mom who spends hours researching every little thing because I’m super picky and paranoid

> 3 dayI think this is my first ever Amazon review because I am so impressed with this baby bouncer. My once colicky baby is instantly soothed by this bouncer. Our little girl is 5 weeks old and is not impressed with any of our other baby gadgets. We have a swing, a rock and play, a glider, a little vibrating seat, and a mamaroo type machine. The only thing that seems to calm her down when she is in the middle of one of her colic spells is bouncing her pretty quickly in our arms or on our legs. This can be incredibly tiring after awhile. I began to search for a baby bouncer and quickly realized that all of the powered bouncers provided very small and smooth bouncing motion. My baby prefers a quick bouncing motion, this is truly the only thing that will calm her down and give us all some peace in our home. Enter the BabyBjorn bouncer. I was hesitant to purchase it because it isnt motorized and relies on the babys movements (or your movement with your feet) to move the bouncer. Once I opened it and got it set up (which was the easiest, quickest thing ever), I put my baby in it and placed my foot at the base, started rocking my foot up and down, and she started easily (and quickly!) bouncing up and down. She instantly calmed down. This has absolutely been the best purchase for us!! Within a few minutes of being in the bouncer she falls asleep, and she is a baby that did not sleep much prior to this. If you have a fussy baby that can only be calmed down by rapid bouncing, BUY this! You will not regret it. We now have a HAPPY smiley baby more times than not thanks to this bouncer.

> 3 dayI love the Baby Bjorn bouncer for several reasons: 1. It is sleek and well designed. The straps securely hold baby in safely. 2. The cotton cover comes of easily and you can just throw it in the washer if it gets dirty. 3. Once baby is old enough, you can flip over the cover and use the bouncer as a chair/seat for your little one. 4. Weight - it is light and you can carry your baby in one arm and the bouncer in the other with no problem. What I didn’t like is that with the seat at the highest angle, when I put my baby in the bouncer, it falls far back to a nearly reclining position. It doesn’t go as far as his bum touching the ground, but in a position for napping instead of sitting. The fabric also faded color quite easily so it’s kind of a reddish dark black faded color now (not a deal breaker though). Despite everything, I would get this again, and I wish I had purchased it sooner when my baby was still tiny and much smaller.

> 3 dayI cant say enough good things about this bouncer - it was seriously the only thing chair we could keep my son in during the first 8 weeks that he would not cry in. Also, I have no idea why, but for some reason it was really helpful to him for gas / bowel movements. My husband and I called it the poop chair because anytime he was fussing over gas pains or hadnt gone yet, we could put him the chair, bounce him a little bit (which he was very happy to have us do) and the issue would work itself out. Its extremely portable and small so easy to move from room to room or even throw in the car and take with you and you can bounce it with your foot if youre eating / doing something with your hands. I seriously debated buying this chair just because it doesnt look like much and its so expensive, but it turned out to be one of the best things I bought. Highly recommend.

> 3 dayHighly recommend this chair. Baby loves to bounce in it, play with the clip-on toys, or just sit and look out the window for a few minutes. It’s great to have a few minutes at a time with the baby playing independently. My baby isn’t a good napper yet, so this chair gives me a little time to do things around the house while keeping an eye on him. I can easily move it from room to room with one hand while holding him in the other arm. Get one or two extra covers. Without fail, baby has a blow-out in it daily. Sometimes 3x a day. Amazing, because his cumulative time in it is maybe 90 minutes, max. I’ve tried covering the seat with cloths, but it gets dirty without fail. Before 3 months it was time to change him to the second position and now it’s like the chair is actually purpose-built to make the baby have a blow-out. Every morning he poos on the first cover within 10 minutes of being set down in it— it’s just part of my routine to change the cover. When we used to only have one cover and it’d be line-drying in the mornings, we didn’t have blow outs elsewhere. It really is a magic chair. I recommend this chair to all parents. If your baby has trouble pooping, doubly so.

Greater than one weekMy son is what is referred to as a velcro baby. He will not let me put him down for even a moment without crying horribly. I spent 2 months unable to make myself food, comb my hair or even shower without him crying his little eyes out. I was exhausted but then...my mother suggested this little bouncer and everything changed! From the moment I put him in the chair he was calm and happy. Its very well made, easy to move from room to room and the cover is machine washable. The design is simple and brilliant. The straps can be put on with only one hand. Super easy to get him in and out. He is 4 months old now and starting to figure out that he can make it bounce. The cover is solid canvas and soft. Thebseems are very strong. It make zero sound while he bounces. I now have a moment here and there to do things around the house while my little man plays in a safe comfy little seat. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayIs this pricey? Yes. It is worth it? Yes. We used to have a rock and play for my first child, then they were recalled. So we have this a go. It’s a nice comfy chair, but it’s hidden attribute is that if your little one is backed up, some gentle bouncing and gravity works magic on constipation, thus why we dub it the magical poop chair. Cons: Wish it was a buckle instead of a thing you slide through, it can be difficult at times and very difficult one handed. Also one more setting to be more upright.
