BabyBjörn Bouncer Balance Soft, Cotton, Black/Dark Gray (005022US)

My baby is a month old and I bought this so she could be close to us and not have to be lying down. She’s very calm in it and the light bouncing helps with her digestion. We even bought the freaky lil eye thing that goes with it. She likes to stare at it I’m sure when she can move her arms more she’ll grab at it.

Just get this for your baby! It’s so comfortable for baby and secure. We got the cotton one and it breathes just fine in hot weather. It’s so soft and comfy—seriously—and baby can easily bounce in with just the kick of a leg. Our baby is just a month old and already loves being upright and able to see us in this chair. It is so easy to use (we just pop baby in and no need to buckle because it’s already buckled beforehand). We have tried other loungers and they’re just not as comfy for baby. To save on cost, we bought an unboxed “like new” one. Look for those! As soon as you get it, the cover slips right off to be washed and slips right back on with ease. Just get this. And if you don’t like it, you can always return it thanks to Amazon’s awesome policy.

I previously gave this a 5 star review, but need to change it because the fabric part on the bouncer I originally received was uneven. I didn’t think it was a big deal, but my pediatrician pointed out that my baby’s head was becoming flat on one side. He asked if she tended to tilt her head to one direction... and then it clicked for me that she does that in this bouncer. I requested to return this one right away and they have sent me a proper replacement that doesn’t have this problem. I also ordered a bobby flat head pillow for it, but I’m still nervous to leave her in the bouncer for too long. It’s very unfortunate because she does love the bouncer and especially now that we have that expensive toy for it too. Ugh. Old review: Something about this is magic. I always thought babies wanted to be held all of the time, but sometimes my baby wants out of my arms just to go into this thing and chillax! I don’t get it, but it is every bit as wonderful as the reviews say. I’m so glad I have a nice, comfy place to rest our baby while I work on the computer. Makes me want to buy the overpriced $50 toy too.

I never write product reviews, but this rocker is so amazing I couldn’t not write one. We have a swing and a rocker and neither compare to this. My 3-week-old son was quite fussy going through his growth spurt and cluster feeds. Once we got him into this, he relaxed and was soothed! I describe this chair as “magic” to anyone who asks. If you are hesitant about the cost (I was), I can say both my husband and I feel the mental sanity this saved us was well worth price!

Buy this!!!!! stop shopping around. It really is the best product ever! This should go on every registry. I am bummed that I didnt find it earlier. Its sleek and sophisticated. It is natural, eco friendly and high quality!! the color alone is beautiful, the picture does it no justice. I bought the creme one and it looks great! it feels ever so soft too!!! Four positions for baby. I love that it folds flat for travel... so great for moms and dads on the move! The price is more than other ones but I promise you get what you pay for and this one is GREAT!!!! We didnt want a bunch of gawdy baby stuff everywhere and this is perfect for that. It looks classy! Our baby has a reflux problem (something shes been struggling with since 3 weeks of age). Laying her down after feeds or at any point causes her to spit up all that she has drunk. I was looking for some tips online and read on mommy blogs that this bouncer really helps with GERD babies. We were a bit hesitant to order it because it was so expensive, but then I saw it on Amazon for a better price and also they were offering $20 off for every $100 you spend on Baby Bjorn items. We took the plunge and ordered it, and could not be happier! There is no assembly required, you pull a lever on the back and lift up the top part and rises up. Its super easy to change the settings (Sleep, Rest and Play, as well as Flat). It folds nice and flat which makes it very convenient to be carried around. We always take this with us when we are visiting friends, its so light and easy to carry. The wooden toy is pretty cool too- a little on the expensive side but gives baby something to occupy themselves with whilst you do your work. The bouncer looks very nice wherever it goes because it isnt bulky or brightly colored like most baby items, which is a big plus for us! We always get compliments on how it looks!

I put baby in this when Im showering or need my hands free. Its perfect and sturdy. I like that I dont have to strap her in.

This is a lifesaver. My grandson went through a period, one month to four months, where he would only sleep if being bounced, ie holding him while sitting and bouncing on an excercise ball. This granny just couldnt do that, when babysitting him. This is such a simple design and well made. It only requires the lightest of movement from your foot, I can sit on the couch, with this on the floor and were both happy. Well worth the price. His parents like it too. Dad can get some computer work done now.

I love the Baby Bjorn bouncer for several reasons: 1. It is sleek and well designed. The straps securely hold baby in safely. 2. The cotton cover comes of easily and you can just throw it in the washer if it gets dirty. 3. Once baby is old enough, you can flip over the cover and use the bouncer as a chair/seat for your little one. 4. Weight - it is light and you can carry your baby in one arm and the bouncer in the other with no problem. What I didn’t like is that with the seat at the highest angle, when I put my baby in the bouncer, it falls far back to a nearly reclining position. It doesn’t go as far as his bum touching the ground, but in a position for napping instead of sitting. The fabric also faded color quite easily so it’s kind of a reddish dark black faded color now (not a deal breaker though). Despite everything, I would get this again, and I wish I had purchased it sooner when my baby was still tiny and much smaller.

Love this. It’s so sleek. However, it’s not a magic dream come true. Maybe for some but for me I would have wanted a $200 bouncer to bounce my baby that does not have the mobility to bounce themselves. Also, baby tolerated for only about half hour at a time. This could be cheaper. It’s essential just a chair and doesn’t do anything special.
