> 24 hourMy baby gets overtired often. Even with no noise, white noise playing, dim room, swaddled, changed diaper, cuddles, and fed. As soon as this bouncer came in I put her right in, she initially startled at first but then she really settled down with the bouncing. She was asleep in about 5 min. She also cried when I stopped bouncing her. I think this is worth every penny already! As for the poop, she went poop today already but after some time in this chair she had another big load in her diaper . Love this thing! UPDATE I think this really got my baby into a good habit of chilling and sleeping. I take this with me everywhere, even on the road. Totally worth it and now my three month old is settled well with the help of this bouncer! UPDATE again: this placed my baby on a sleep schedule. I freakin love this thing. I wash the material and air dry outside. Dries fairly fast on a sunny day!

> 24 hourWith my first baby I got a cheap bouncer seat with the vibrator in it available just about anywhere. It quickly became one of the more despised baby items and was donated. My experience with traditional baby bouncer seats is that babies do not like or notice the vibrator setting-its just a waste of money (they eat expensive batteries), they are bulky and feel cheaply made, they are very quickly outgrown, and are usually an eye sore (the baby stuff is cute at first but as a first time parent youll more than likely start to feel like you are drowning in a home full of cutesy baby things). The Baby Bjorn Bouncer resolves all of these issues and give you a truly durable and functional product well worth the money. The seat is preassembled (unlike most) which gives you one less thing to put together while preparing for baby-a big plus! It also collapses so that it can be stored very easily even in many narrow spaces. This is especially great when storing it for the next baby. I love that the seat design is simple, sleek, and light weight enough I can bring into any room of the house to have baby happily bounce right next to me. Another huge huge plus is how easy it is to wash. The cover simply slides off and goes right in the wash. No pulling or untangling the belt buckles to remove it-and it washes very nicely (i.e. No pilling!). Possibly what really makes this worth the price, is the longevity of use. Being able to use this through toddlerhood is what seals the deal-nor do I have to worry about my current toddler trying to use it when baby is not. I really wish I wouldve looked past the price tag of this seat with my first baby to see the true value in such a functional well designed baby product. Definitely a must have item for new (or new again!) parents! P.s. if price really is an issue consider buying an open box condition one from amazon for a great discount.

> 24 hourIts expensive for the length of time that we were able to use it, but it was completely worth it and has a great resale value. I purchased it when my son was a little over 2 months old, and I wish I had had it from the beginning. We stopped using it at about 7 months because he was sitting fine on his own and is big for his age. When it was in use, it was a lifesaver. It has a smaller footprint than a lot of other bouncers, so we were able to bring it into our small bathroom and my son would sit in it while we showered. We brought it any time we traveled, my son would sit in it while we ate dinner, wed put him in it while we cooked in the kitchen or washed dishes. He enjoyed that he was able to sit up to see what was happening, and I liked how easy it was to use and how lightweight it is. We used it a lot when he was fussy just to be able to get things done. I have several different types of carriers, but you cant baby wear all the time, especially when cooking or washing dishes. This solved our issue, he didnt fuss because I was able to engage with him by having him right next to me while I got stuff done. He had a couple of blowouts while seated in this, we actually called it the magic pooping chair. We also used this chair to feed him when we started introducing him to solids because he didnt seem to like his high chair at first. Depending on the level of clean up needed, the cover cleaned up easily with baby wipes or by throwing it in the wash.

> 24 hourPrior to our baby being born, we purchased a swing because I had previously read you do not need both a swing and a bouncer. However, our son doesn’t like his swing because buckling him in makes him fussy, and even though our swing has a detachable rocker, it is too heavy for me to conveniently carry around. Because our son has reflux, we have to hold him upright for 20-40 minutes after each feeding. This was taking up so much time every day I finally gave in and purchased this bouncer after reading the great reviews because the incline looked similar to holding him in our arms. The nurse hotline at our pediatrician office said a bouncer didn’t count as holding a child upright, but in my experience, it has worked perfectly for reflux. Not only is this the perfect place to set our son after feeding, he LOVES this bouncer and many times this is the only thing that calms him down when he is upset. There have been been nights where he refuses to go to sleep in my arms but will fall asleep immediately in this. Since it is not a safe sleeping device, I simply put him into bed once he falls asleep. I would recommend a Baby Bjorn bouncer to any new parent, and it is a must-have for any parent of a baby with reflux. The toy attachment is expensive but absolutely worth it. If this works for your baby, I would also recommend buying an extra cover. Since it can not go in the dryer, it took almost an entire day to air dry, and if you use this as much as we do, you will not want to wait two days for the cover to arrive. On the plus side, both spit up and pee easily came out in the wash, and the cover looked good as new! Note: I will say that I almost returned the bouncer after I saw the hideous warning label on the front of the bouncer that cannot be removed. It is unfortunate that a few people ruined it for everyone because the warnings are common sense and also highlighted in the instruction manual. I almost deducted a star for the label, but after further research found that it is actually required for all bouncers made after 2018 based on a new consumer safety law.

> 24 hourAfter reading tons and tons of 5 star reviews, I just knew that I HAD TO HAVE this bouncer. And, like a fool, I spent $200 on a bouncer--only to buy a $40 Fisher Price swing a month later. Pros: very portable from one room of the house to another, not an eye sore, easy to wash, easy to get baby in and out Cons: very pricey, my daughter (3 months) does not move around enough to make it bounce much---and therefore, she becomes bored in it. Perhaps, once my daughter is older and tends to move more/is heavier, we might like it better. For now, I primarily use it when she is fussing and I am trying to get ready in the mornings...I just bring it in our small bathroom by our vanity, and I am able to bounce it with my foot while I fix my hair in the mornings.

> 24 hourWe started using the bouncer when our baby was about a month old. He wanted to be in constant motion and it was so exhausting bouncing him in our arms constantly. Enter the BABYBJÖRN Bouncer! We would put him in the bouncer and use our foot to bounce him. Instant calming! Two months later we use the bouncer every single day - it is his spot in the evenings while we eat dinner. The fabric is super soft and easy to wash. It hugs him while he sits and he often doses off. Total lifesaver!

> 24 hourI bought this specifically for my reflux baby. He still spits up and its harder than laying down because he cannot turn himself to the side in this and he has started choking a few times. Also, while you can wash it easily, it says not to put it in the dryer and it took almost two days to fully air dry it. I lay a blanket in it now with a burp cloth for protection so i dont have to wash it every time. One thing that is true is that it does seem to help speed up bowel movements! Its nice, but not sure how its so helpful for reflux babies and I feel mislead by reviews. Maybe they have older babies that can sit in the higher recline positon. For reference my baby is almost 8 weeks and sits in the lowest recline. I still give the product a thumbs up because it is nice, just wanted to leave my experience because of all the reviews for reflux that isnt true for us. If youre solely buying it for that purpose you can save your money.

> 24 hourThis is a lifesaver. My grandson went through a period, one month to four months, where he would only sleep if being bounced, ie holding him while sitting and bouncing on an excercise ball. This granny just couldnt do that, when babysitting him. This is such a simple design and well made. It only requires the lightest of movement from your foot, I can sit on the couch, with this on the floor and were both happy. Well worth the price. His parents like it too. Dad can get some computer work done now.
