Greater than one weekThis is so handy to have when my babe wants to be in the exact room Im in. Our home isnt very open-concept and babe likes to always see me. This bouncer is so nice because the cover slips right off to wash and easily back on. It folds up and stores away easy so its not in the way but pops right back open and is ready to use! We started using this right at 3 months old and doubt well stop any time soon!

> 3 dayThis is my wife’s and my favorite baby item we’ve gotten. It packs down small for travel (however, it’s too long to fit in a large suitcase for air travel) and is easy to clean (just slide the fabric off the frame and wash!). It’s really easy to rock with your foot, which is helpful during dinner time or just watching TV, and rocking him in this almost always calms him. It’s easy to carry and maneuver around the house, and it even has three different angle settings. Our boy loves it, and at this point has even figured out how to rock himself. Sometimes he gets squirmy and only settles once we put him in this rocker. If there’s only one thing we could recommend to a new parent, it would be Moms on Call. But if we could recommend two things, this would be the second :)

> 3 dayIf we could give this product ten stars we would. We had our first child in August and after the first month our pediatrician had us go to urgent care because “it isn’t normal” for baby to cry for six hours straight every day. Of course the urgent care doctor merely sympathized with us and told us to strap in for the next 3, possibly 6 months. Cue a casual menty B (mental breakdown) for mom. Our daughter hated the side to side swing another parent recommended, but liked when dad did squats while holding her - however dad said this was not a long term solution. Mom realized baby liked an up down motion - enter the Baby Bjorn Bouncer. Baby no longer fusses for hours every day - mom and dad now have some semblance of their mental health back. Our only wish is that it could be motorized, but on the other hand our calves are getting real swole.

> 3 dayWe could not have lived without this seat. I grew up babysitting for boys with a similar seat, and this was the only one I found that was comparable: simple without obnoxious colors and plastic toys with flashing lights and noises everywhere. I think it says to keep it on the ground, but ours lived mostly on the kitchen table (placed carefully and centrally) with Freddie the Firefly on the chandelier above. We spend most of our time in the kitchen, and this let my son be a part of the group. He used this day 1: when too small to put his legs through the holes, we swaddled him and just strapped the whole burrito in - it was perfect. It worked well for us to keep a thick cloth diaper (a gift - it was cute and monogrammed) under his head all times, and when the seat got dirty I was good about spot cleaning it right away. I machine washed it about 3 or 4 times (didnt put it in the dryer) and it looks absolutely perfect. We did buy the wooden toy, which I also reviewed, and yes, spend the money: it feels expensive (at least it did to me) but it was worth it. The baby loved it, and I do think it helped develop his fine motor skills as he worked to spin and manipulate the hamburger. An all-around excellent product.

> 3 dayThis bouncer is a life saver. My little girl loves hanging out in it, napping and as of recently kicking her feet. Its really easy for an adult to make it bounce until shes able to bounce in it by herself. Just slightly tap at the bottom with your foot. Right now, shes 2.5 months old and weve been using it for a while at the lowest setting. I used an insert to help her head stay straight (for naps mostly) but its really not necessary. Sometimes I tuck in a blanket under her arms. I know its a little pricey compared to other bouncers out there but I think its worth every penny. The cover is very easy to take off the metal bars to wash -- we had one major diaper blowout while she was in it but it all came off without staining. Just make sure to hang to dry, dont put it in the dryer. The only reason Im giving it four stars is the black / grey color. I wanted a more neutral color to fit with our living room furniture but the material actually attracts a lot of dust and dog hair. I just use a lint brush to clean it every other day. I also hope the black doesnt fade over time. A sand / stone color would have been more practical for us.

Greater than one weekIs this pricey? Yes. It is worth it? Yes. We used to have a rock and play for my first child, then they were recalled. So we have this a go. It’s a nice comfy chair, but it’s hidden attribute is that if your little one is backed up, some gentle bouncing and gravity works magic on constipation, thus why we dub it the magical poop chair. Cons: Wish it was a buckle instead of a thing you slide through, it can be difficult at times and very difficult one handed. Also one more setting to be more upright.

> 3 dayThis is my favorite baby product so far. It is easy to use and put away. I take it with me anytime I go to someone’s house. My baby loves sitting in it. He bounces it all by himself. He has been able to do that since we started using it because when they kick it bounces. Easy to clean and out back on. I wish I had it for my other babies.

Greater than one weekPrior to our baby being born, we purchased a swing because I had previously read you do not need both a swing and a bouncer. However, our son doesn’t like his swing because buckling him in makes him fussy, and even though our swing has a detachable rocker, it is too heavy for me to conveniently carry around. Because our son has reflux, we have to hold him upright for 20-40 minutes after each feeding. This was taking up so much time every day I finally gave in and purchased this bouncer after reading the great reviews because the incline looked similar to holding him in our arms. The nurse hotline at our pediatrician office said a bouncer didn’t count as holding a child upright, but in my experience, it has worked perfectly for reflux. Not only is this the perfect place to set our son after feeding, he LOVES this bouncer and many times this is the only thing that calms him down when he is upset. There have been been nights where he refuses to go to sleep in my arms but will fall asleep immediately in this. Since it is not a safe sleeping device, I simply put him into bed once he falls asleep. I would recommend a Baby Bjorn bouncer to any new parent, and it is a must-have for any parent of a baby with reflux. The toy attachment is expensive but absolutely worth it. If this works for your baby, I would also recommend buying an extra cover. Since it can not go in the dryer, it took almost an entire day to air dry, and if you use this as much as we do, you will not want to wait two days for the cover to arrive. On the plus side, both spit up and pee easily came out in the wash, and the cover looked good as new! Note: I will say that I almost returned the bouncer after I saw the hideous warning label on the front of the bouncer that cannot be removed. It is unfortunate that a few people ruined it for everyone because the warnings are common sense and also highlighted in the instruction manual. I almost deducted a star for the label, but after further research found that it is actually required for all bouncers made after 2018 based on a new consumer safety law.

> 3 dayI like that the bouncer is made with babys wellbeing in mind (safe materials, egronomic design), and for that reason it is worth the price! I wish I bought this earlier. The weight limit for the bouncer option is 20 lbs and my daughter is close to that weight. However, she enjoys spending time in her bouncer, seems comfortable, so even though shell outgrow it soon - its worth it! I am not crazy about the color I chose (greenish khaki), so if I was buying this again I would choose a color that is more fun. I was considering buying another fabric cover, but it seems that these are not sold separately. Another issue is that whenever my daughter poops while sitting in the chair, there is a diaper/laundry situation as everything goes up her back. I wouldnt say its the products fault, just simple physics. Because of the seated position, stuff cant go down/distribute evenly in the diaper, so it goes up! I To avoid having to wash the seat fabric every day, I put a small receiving blanket on the bouncer when my daughter is using it.
