This banana stand is a great buy for the price. While I am not sure that using a stand will keep the bananas from over-ripening, the theory that storing the bananas vertically to allow the Ethelyne gas to rise away from the bananas seems logical. I like my bananas slightly green so we will see. The stand assembles with two screws and is very stable. I have mine on top of my refrigerator so the fact that the edges of the marble stand arent polished is a little disappointing but not enough to take a star off. So if you are looking for a nice stand then I would not hesitate to recommend this one.

This is one of my favorite purchases from Amazon in the last few months. It is very well built (you have to put it together which takes less than one minute), the stand is very sturdy and the marble goes beautifully with my countertop. The wood color is perfect against my backsplash. The best part is the tree stand is tall enough the bananas do not drag on the countertop. so consequently, the bananas stay fresh longer. I highly recommend this product. The cost was very reasonable and I received it promptly.

This is a great banana hanger - once you get it assembled. Should be easy and quick - 2 screws. The problem is that the pilot holes for the screws are too narrow and too shallow. We ordered 2 of these, and both had the same issue. Both holes in both hangers required a drill to make the holes big enough to get the screw going. As long as you have a drill and know how to use it, it’s all good.
