> 3 dayThis banana stand is a great buy for the price. While I am not sure that using a stand will keep the bananas from over-ripening, the theory that storing the bananas vertically to allow the Ethelyne gas to rise away from the bananas seems logical. I like my bananas slightly green so we will see. The stand assembles with two screws and is very stable. I have mine on top of my refrigerator so the fact that the edges of the marble stand arent polished is a little disappointing but not enough to take a star off. So if you are looking for a nice stand then I would not hesitate to recommend this one.
