> 3 dayThis stuff does not taste good. I still drink it for other reasons. It says to mix this in warm water. I mix this in hot water and it does not dissolve. You can stir til your face turns blue, but its not gonna happen. When drinking, you can feel the particles going down your throat. I really hate giving basd reviews, but this stuff is not fun to drink at all. The seller was good however.

> 3 day3 star review simply because the label & search function is somewhat confusing. Please be aware: The Brahmi of classical Ayurvedic herbalism is Bacopa Monnieri which you can also purchase from Banyan. Gotu Kola is similar and widely used as a substitute ... but it is not the classic, original Brahmi. I have not actually used this product ... I imagine it is a fine product as Banyan has good reputation ... but i am purchasing the Bacopa Monnieri. I dont know why a search on Brahmi led me to the Gotu Kola version ... disappointed with the search functionality. If you want the original, true Brahmi, then you may need to search Bacopa to find it.

> 3 dayI put Brahmi powder in coconut oil for daily 5 minute abyanga (ayurvedic self massage). Exceptionally effective anti-pitta therapy... and relatively inexpensive, compared to the 9hrs of brain surgery that unbalance my pitta. These guys sell fresh, high grade Ayurvedic herbs at very fair prices.

> 3 dayVery finely ground, I add a teaspoon to my fruit smoothies and yogurt and it works pretty well. Gotu Kola has been suggested for a variety of ailments, including depression, anxiety, skin disorders and circulatory problems. All around good for you, I take it to moderate my mood and for improving circulation and fatigue. Taken in small amounts daily I think it is good for both. I am accustomed to putting most of my herbs in caps, which you could easily do with this.... but because it is so finely ground it goes into food just as readily and does not taste bad nor does it alter the taste of foods noticeably. I just added a level teaspoon to me evening yogurt and it tasted just fine.

08-06-2025My husband has MS and has vision problems due to the nerves in his eyes being damaged. The Banyan Gotu Kola tea we make almost completely eliminates the crossing of his right eye, which usually happens episodically throughout the day. We simmer 2 oz of GK in about 1 1/2 cups of water for 10 minutes and let it steep for an hour, then strain. This is enough for two or three days. I highly recommend this for anyone with nervous system disorders.

Greater than one weekI ordered this after being encouraged by a friend to try it. He had what I would call flakes of gotu kola. Ive had great success with Banyans products before, so I went straight for this one over the other brand. I definitely feel like I made the right choice. The Banyan Gotu Kola is clearly much greener and fresher, and I can feel the difference as well. While I wouldnt say I have had any miracle level results, I do feel a little less fatigued in the afternoon when I take this, and I notice my concentration in front of the computer is a little better. It tastes pretty good too - I just make a hot tea with it and add a little honey. I will definitely reorder this product when I run out. The ultimate proof to me that it is helping, is that I actually REMEMBER to take it each day, haha!
