> 3 dayIf you remember these from your childhood you are in luck! Unlike the others coming back with classics we loved as a kid.. these pound puppies are the real OG. :) I lost mine and was upset for years and was so excited to buy my four year old the same exact one I had! Thank you so much for keeping something nostalgic and the same!! Love it!! Great gift and ridiculous soft!!

> 3 dayI bought this for my son for Christmas. I knew hed love it, and I was so excited to gift him a toy that was exactly like the one I played with as a kid. The box came with a slight dent, but was still giftable. And the Pound Puppy himself was adorable, super soft, and just like I remembered. Well, it hasnt even been 2 months and the ribbon collar/name tag around its neck just ripped. Mind you, all my son does with this Pound Puppy is sleep with it. Nap time and bed time. So last night as my daughter went to hand her brother his dog, the collar shredded in her hand. I ended up with a handful of ribbon and a detached name tag and a very upset two year old. The quality of the Pound Puppy itself seems fine, so far. But Im definitely disappointed, obviously. And as luck would have it, Ive missed the return window. So Im stuck with this ripped Pound Puppy and a bummed toddler. UPDATE: I was able to trim the ripped portion of the collar down to where its sewn into the actual dog. Youd never know that the collar ripped in the first place. And the pound puppy itself is still in near perfect condition. Am I bummed that it fell apart? Sure. Especially for the price. But other than the collar made of only ribbon...the dog seems to be pretty sturdy, and my son loves it!

13-04-2025Purchased as a Christmas gift. They remind me of my childhood and I figured my niece would love it- what little girl doesn’t love puppies?! They are super soft and seem to be the same great quality as the original in the 80’s.

> 3 dayI grew up in the 80s, and never had the opportunity to get a full sized Pound Puppy. I always had the mni ones. So when I saw these were available, I had to get one for me, er, my 2 year old. She wasnt as excited as me, but she loves it nonetheless. I definitely met expectation. I came across an original one at a second hand store, and both are very close in appearance.

> 3 dayI loved my pound puppy as a kid. Loved that puppy so much his eye fell off and his nose got all rubbed off-ish. He’s gone. This pup is cute, soft, and his head is floppy. However, his body is very much smaller than they used to be and the hard plastic name tag is annoying and kinda painful when snuggling.

> 3 dayI got this for my 1 year old nephew for Christmas. From what i remember, the original was much bigger and the collar was a leathery plastic material while this collar is like a real thin cheap material. I saw where people commented that the collar has already ripped but its just a collar. Hopefully the dog will last him a long time. 4/5 stars because its not exactly like the original.

Definitely think it was worth the price. Thank you for selling these cute 80s toys. I loved them so much as a child and so happy my son loves it too.
