> 3 dayWe bought this as a gift for a 4 year old who quickly fell in love with it and sleeps with it every night! My own children (4 and 6) have one each as well and they have gotten a lot of love and play. I actually still have my original Pound Puppy from 1986 and this looks and feels very, very similar. I was so pleased to see that since many of the retro toys I find for my kids are not the same quality they used to be. The Pound Puppies come in a box that looks like a dog house, which adds to the play. My kids loved the concept of the adoption certificate and naming the puppies. They quickly set up a Pet Adoption Center and a Veterinarian Office with their pretend play things. This is currently my go-to gift for preschoolers, and I would recommend it for kids ages 3-8...and parents who were born in the 1980s!

> 3 dayI got this for Christmas for my granddaughter. It is just like the one that my dad bought me when I was her age. We lost him this year, so this passed on sweet memory gift was so perfect and meaningful.

> 3 dayI got this for my 1 year old nephew for Christmas. From what i remember, the original was much bigger and the collar was a leathery plastic material while this collar is like a real thin cheap material. I saw where people commented that the collar has already ripped but its just a collar. Hopefully the dog will last him a long time. 4/5 stars because its not exactly like the original.

> 3 dayWow! Outstanding dog. I’ve had a lot of dogs in my life but none as obedient and kind as this dog. He never jumps on visitors and hasn’t once barked at the mail driver. He doesn’t beg for food...and for that matter he doesn’t really eat anything so the food expenses have been very reasonable. I would definitely purchase this dog again.

Greater than one weekSuper cute and exactly as I remembered when I was young. Yes I bought it for me, a grown woman but it is also 2020. I lost my beloved pound puppy at the grocery store when I was little and it broke my heart so I bought this one. So happy to see him again. Cuddly and giftable.

> 3 dayIt was super cute and soft. Its not too big but not too small either. A great gift for kids or anyone who had one in the 80s.

> 3 dayI had a pound puppy as a child so we gave one to our son for Valentines Day. He loves it! He loved naming him. He take very good care of it too. My only issue is its definitely a lesser quality fabric and stuffing than Id prefer. I still have mine intact from 34 years ago. I dont think this one will hold up like that.
