With the recent ban of the antibiotic triclosan in acne face wash products, I needed to find a replacement for my Nivea face wash the worked great for my type of skin. After doing some research, I found some posts of some people in the same predicament that mentioned they found this product as a good replacement. It was inexpensive so I gave it a shot, and so far it seems to be working well! It cleans and leaves the skin feeling moist and not dried out. It has a nice light natural fragrance, which only last while cleaning, I dont notice it once I dry my face. I am usually sensitive to most items with fragrance, but this one didnt bother me at all. It is a great price and works, I just hope that Amazon keeps selling this product for a long time! This isnt billed as an acne wash, so I dont think it has an antibiotic in it, so for some people it may not be strong enough for their skin condition, but since it is relatively inexpensive it is worth a try, I believe a lot of acne is caused by overly dry skin which causes more oil production, so I think this product helps by keep the skin moist after cleaning.

LOVE this product. Foams up nicely, feels nice on my skin, gets rid of makeup and is nicely PH balanced. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is the cap is hard to open. Has a flip top cap and it is very tight. Using it in the shower can be especially difficult with wet hands but even dry hands is very hard to open. Will still buy it but would be 5 stars with a user friendly cap.

I have been using this for years. It leaves your face completely clean without drying your skin. It used to come in a pump bottle which was really handy. I now transfer the cleanser from the tube into a pump bottle

I dont normally write reviews, but I feel as though this product deserves one. After months of trying to find what works for my skin, I came across Basis. I figured why not try it since Ive tried everything else. Well it has been 8 months and I am obsessed with this product. The gel texture, its smell and the lightweight is just what I was looking for. It has cleared my skin tremendously. I use it twice a day. In the morning I will use just my hands, but at night I will use a spin brush, both times followed by an oil moisturizer (I prefer to use gel/oil/clear products). No pics to show, but I am a woman of color, late 20s who has oily skin - if that helps.

Ive used this cleanser for several years and it leaves my skin clean and soft. There is nothing harsh or abrasive in the gel and it is a gentle on my sensitive skin. I also appreciate that it is reasonably priced. I do recommend this lovely gel facial cleanser.

For the price and quality, this is a must buy. I have sensitive skin that can break out in acne and if really bad, cystic acne. This facial wash is light and really foams well. I use it after using a makeup removing wipe and an astringent. You can probably do so without those pre-steps but since I have oily combination skin I tend to have multiple layer of makeup on for coverage. If you dont have problematic skin like mine you can probably just wash this wash on its own. My skin always feels refreshed and clean after that without leaving a waxy feeling that some facial washes do. My face also feels nice and soft and really absorbs the serum I put on next. It actually works with the kbeauty products I use. It shall definitely stay part of my beauty rotation.

Ill never buy another face wash. This stuff is so legit. My bathroom was once equivalent to a CVS; stock full of various face washes, scrubs, and zit zappers. I had relatively bad acne for nearly 10 years until I couldnt take it anymore and decided to consult with my doctor. He didnt want to prescribe acutane or anything of the like, instead he said to go buy basis face wash. I though the dude was crazy, I spend all this money to come to the doctor and he tells me go buy an over the counter face wash. Well, turns out he was right. My acne has dramatically decreased and leaves my skin looking and feeling healthy, has never dried my skin out either like all the other crap out there. Also, cant beat the price. Ill be buying as long as theyre selling.
