Yup, good face wash. I was one of those people that thought I was battling acne since my teen years. As it turns out, I dont have acne, I have sensitive skin--when I started treating it like sensitive skin, this amazing thing happened: it stopped rebelling against me! Current regimen: Wear long hair up or with a headband most days. Make sure to wash/rinse skin immediately after any exercise. Use exfoliating sponge daily. Wash with Basis in the AM Use Witch Hazel as a toner (Thayers) Use Fruit of the Earth Aloe as a moisturizer Thats it! Im now confidently make-up free most days :) I hope this helps someone that is struggling with their acne prone sensitive skin while reading reviews...

Recently it seems like Basis products just disappeared from the shelves of stores that always stocked them. Im glad I thought to look on Amazon! Not only is it the only place I can find Basis, but I can get three bottles for about the same price of ONE bottle in the store! Basis Cleaner Clean is the only face wash that actually leaves my face feeling squeaky clean (and Ive tried almost every kind out there). Its never dried my face out, never made me break out; just left me feeling amazingly clean. Oh, and the scent...the scent is one of the best parts. Its got a crisp, fresh smell that really invigorates you.

Its beautiful in every aspect. My daughter is going to love it.

I have always loved this cleanser. I mainly use it during warmer weather when I swap out my creamier Winter cleanser. Removes make up well, doesn’t dry out skin, smells great and doubles as a shower gel. And of course the price is right. Hard to find in stores but here they have the 3 pack so that will last a while.

I have used this face wash for several years now. I have oily skin and am prone to breakouts. I use this in the morning in the shower. I also use it as a second shampoo for my hair which is prone to be oily and I get breakouts on my scalp. I just use my shampoo, rinse and then use the Basis on my face and scalp and it keeps my hair looking fresh all day and reduces the amount of blocked hair follicles on my scalp. I do not use it to remove my makeup as I think using it twice a day was too drying for my skin. I use an all natural hand-made soap to remove my makeup and between the 2 soaps, I only occasionally get blemishes. I was buying this on another website but the price is double what it is on Amazon.

I’ve been using this product for years and I love it. Gives my face a nice clean feeling, doesn’t dry your skin, gets off makeup, good for people with slightly oily or sensitive skin. Very light scent. I order this through Amazon now, not because it’s easy, but this product over the years has been increasingly difficult to find in stores. Ok price for the product.

Do your skin a favor and buy this. It is soap and chemical free. It removes all of my makeup, even water proof. I have sensitive and oily skin. This product has helped immensely. I especially loved it when I was sunburnt, it never burned my skin, if anything it helped it heal faster. It doesnt burn your eyes. I would use this on children. It is that gentle.

I love this stuff. I only use it on my face. If you have even one tiny skin problem this is for you. No dryness, gives you a glow. Worth every penny.

Not for hypersensitive skin. Sensitive skins stick with regular Basis soap bar instead of the cleanser. Depending on how sensitive your face is, you will eventually turn red like a cooked lobster. Works well for non-sensitive folks though.
