> 24 hourCancun. June. Hot. After a blistering August at a favorite all-inclusive in Cancun, I knew my husband and I had to alleviate the heat (somehow!) for our wedding anniversary in June. I bought two of these after reading far too many reviews in hopes they would meet our needs. The Pros: -The fan is light weight and small enough for a suitcase or carry on, but it packs a decent punch. -A light on the back lets you know when the fan is in charge mode. Perfect for questionable outlets in unfamiliar hotel rooms. -The fan speed is fully adjustable. -The battery is lithium and therefore cannot be checked; however, it is removable. -If the battery runs dry, you can plug it directly into a power source and it will continue working (albeit at a slower speed). It also works with no battery inserted whatsoever and a plugged in power source. -I dropped the fan. On a marble floor. It didn’t break. (Note: I’d love to pretend this was for experimental purposes, but it’s just my life). -The dual stand/clip options were perfect for our needs, and the clip is fairly strong. -(And I cannot stress the functionality-frequency of this enough): The head swivels in multiple directions and almost 360 degrees. You never know how uppity you are until it’s 92 degrees with 90% humidity and the angle of the fan isn’t perfect!). The Cons: -Battery life was about three hours at full speed. While this isn’t terrible, I would have liked for it to last a bit longer. We could probably invest in alternate lithium batteries with more life, but I haven’t researched this yet. -We found a couple of opportunities wherein a larger clip was necessary to use the clip functionality. -The “stand” is very short, so there were a few times that the low base point and a low table made it difficult to feel the air pointed upwards. -You need to be pretty close to feel a good breeze, particularly outside (the breeze traveled fairly well inside). The hubby gave me massive props for ingenuity throughout our trip thanks to this purchase (note: I bought the fans, I didn’t invent them!). We were basically rock stars on the beach and in the cabanas, with many patrons and most of the staff remarking on the fans. And, as my husband loves sleeping in a cool setting and the ceiling fan in our suite was over the living area and not over the bed, hubby used these at night for extra air and they worked wonderfully. No complaints. Buy the fan(s). Treat yo’ self.

> 24 hourQuiet fan. Clips to edges or sits upright. Battery (18650) is attached to fan. Better have an extra battery or two charged if you plan to run it continuously without plugging it in. Runs off USB alone.

> 24 hourI bought a fan nearly identical to this one at Toys R Us and use it on a baby carrier. That Toys R Us fan is okay, but the motor is not very strong and does little to cool the baby during summer months. I also tried to use it to get breeze in a tent while camping, and it was worthless for that. So, when I saw the glowing reviews for this similar fan on Amazon, I thought I would give it a try, hoping that the motor would be more powerful. I was not disappointed. Holding the two fans side by side, the top speed of this Amazon fan is about twice that of the Toys R Us fan. This Amazon fan provides quite a bit of airflow for such a small device. I also love the fact that it can be recharged by USB. Our family has USB plugs everywhere, including the car. Its just so easy to plug this fan in for a few minutes to top off the charge. Finally, this Amazon fan is more flexible and can point in just about any direction. I was initially skeptical of this fan because virtually all of the glowing reviews (at that time, about 70% of them) were from people who had received a benefit for reviewing the product. I hate that practice and wish Amazon would shut it down. Ive been burned before by buying a product with glowing reviews only to find that the product stinks and the reviews were bogus. Why not let a good product speak for itself? Despite my skepticism, this fan basically lives it up to the hype. Its a little flimsy/lightweight, but it has a powerful, adjustable speed motor and convenient USB charging. Id recommend it. (And for the record, Im just a regular Amazon customer who paid full price for this thing based on the good reviews.)

> 24 hourThis fan I bought to use during workouts at the gym. The battery life lasts about 2-3 hours at full charge. I work out for about 2 hours at a time so it serves its purpose. Just have to remember to charge it every day. It blows at a decent pace on full blast at least enough to keep the sweat from dripping down my face It clips well as it has a wide clip mouth and also the fan head swivels in every direction so that no matter where or how you have to clip the fan you can move the fan head to blow what ever direction you wish Comes with the charging cord that will plug into about any charger head/cube and also into most modern vehicles.

> 24 hourEste abanico resulta tener el tamaño perfecto para usar en un escritorio, ya que no ocupa mucho espacio, y la potencia perfecta para librarte del calor cuando el aire acondicionado no está funcionando. La carga en la batería es un poco más corta que la descrita en la página de venta.

> 24 hourI wanted to have clip on fans that we could take so my small children wouldnt be so miserable on outdoor activities in the summertime. These worked amazingly well, the battery life was great, the noise level was reasonable, and the relief from the airflow was very effective. Highly recommend these fans!

> 24 hourInitial impressions are positive. Purchased this mini fan to improve ventilation and move air around the inside of a micro-cruiser sailboat cabin. Seems to have adequate airflow for that purpose. Chose this model over others due to design. Variable speed, not just low, med and high. Clip or table top base use. 18650 lipo battery. Fan is relatively quiet. Basically just air movement noise. Gimbal mount allows flexible positioning of air flow in every direction. Clamp is padded with a closed cell foam like material. Clamp allows for ~3/4” thick surface. Pushing it to ~1” is possible. Grip is still positive due to the foam. Powered through the micro-USB charging plug with a 12.5 watt solar panel. Controller limits set at 5V, max 2.1A. Only weird thing was the fan had only one speed. Full on. Powered with the same solar set up with the battery installed allowed variable speed. The battery compartment only allows use of flat top 18650 lipos. Too short for protected batteries. 18650 of choice are KeepPower 3500mAh protected (aka button top) lipos. Used in everything else that accepts 18650. Not sure if the built in charger has a quality battery management system. Unprotected lipo, bad battery charge control can result in a dangerous event. Supposedly the unit will shut down if battery voltage drops below 3.2V under load. If so, little risk to damaging battery during use. Maximum discharge rate is low (<1C)for this fan. Little risk to all but real junky Lipos. Will use “smart” charger vs. the fan’s charger. 4*s for now. If the fan lasts at least one season of use it’s a 5* unit.

> 24 hourI work at a beach bar and I use this fan on my break while sitting in my car. It doesn’t even last an hour on a full night of charge.
