Directions do not say how to put in essential oils except in diagram says aromatherapy box but there are 2 ways you could put the oil when looking at the box. After never using essential oils I was afraid to use this feature. I cannot say if it is easy to clean or not as I just received the unit.

> 3 dayIt does make a glug glug sound..like the water is distributing in the container. Other than that it is whisper quite, easy to fill, runs over 8 hours and is more than enough humidity for my 10 X 12 bedroom

> 3 dayI was so excited to finally have a humidifier in my room as I struggle with breathing sometimes. I saw the reviews on this and was ver excited to get mine in the mail. Firstly, it took too long. It told me it was going to be delivered same day, but it took over 24 hours. It was very upsetting. After waiting and receiving the package at around 9pm, I filled her up, plugged it in + nothing. There was a red light so I tried following all the protocols in the manual and nothing worked. I’m so upset, because I was very excited to use this.

How to Clean My Humidifier?
We suggest that you clean the humidifier every three days. That might sound like a lot of work, but it’s worth doing to avoid the dreaded humidifier lung.
1. Unplug and disassemble your humidifier.
2. Fill the tank with water as you normally would, but add 2 tablespoons of distilled white vinegar (citric acid powder, or a similar weak acid also applied)
3. Let this mixture sit in the tank for 30 minutes.
4. Empty the humidifier, and use a cleaning brush and cloth to scrub any areas with buildup.
5. Rinse all the parts and let them air dry for 30 to 60 minutes before you’re ready to use the humidifier again.
