We all had fun learning the planets and other interesting facts about Space. It was the perfect gift for our grandson.

My son loves it. He solves this puzzle almost daily. Built very sturdy.

These puzzles are fantastic. They are beautiful to look at, fun to put together, and very nicely made overall. I have given them as gifts and to my own children to play with. This is the kind of perfect gift that I sometimes just keep around in my house for parties that I have forgotten to buy gifts for. You wont regret this purchase!

X is for xray fish and N is for nightingale, except the nightingale is painted yellow like a duck. I can excuse the lack of an X family of animal, but at least paint the nightingale with the right colors. Or use a newt instead. Also, the pig looks more like a pink dog. Still, the puzzle is cute, and well made.

bought this for my 2 year old granddaughter and she likes doing it. It is colorful and well made. I am not sure it needs capitol letters on one side and small letters on the other side but oh well. I recommend the puzzle

Our granddaughter loves this puzzle that we gave her for her 5th birthday! I had been looking at it for over a year. Decided the timing was right--a good challenge, but no so challenging that she would get too frustrated The puzzle can be put together from left to right, or from right to left. This will determine whether you are using capital letters or lower case letters. Also, they need to be tracking their alphabet, (what comes next) as they are identifying the letters. The letters correlate to the name of the animal/bird etc puzzle piece. For example, V is for vulture. Some animals are fairly common and easily identifiable, while others are a little more challenging. We also have the spatial aspect of the puzzle. This puzzle is put together a little differently than some---yes, you are going in one direction, but some of the pieces are a little more challenging to figure out how they connect to the previous piece. So, you are dealing with 1) the spatial aspects of putting the puzzle together, 2) tracking the letters of the alphabet, 3) Remembering whether the letter is upper or lower case, and 4) identifying the animal as a clue to what letter this might be. The only negative point about this puzzle (in my opinion) is that it does not have a lid or a case. Once you tear the plastic off of the puzzle, you do have a nice little box that its in, but nothing to prevent pieces from being spilled or lost. Overall, though, its a wonderful puzzle!

Well made and packaged. Bought based on the reviews and was not disappointed. Quite a decent size and when assembled can be used even as decoration in the frame - the colors are nice and vibrant and the cutout pieces are well made. I gave as gift and don’t know yet on the kid’s reactions, but for a developing 2-3 year old this could be very enjoyable. No batteries and no buttons, noises and screens, just colors and shapes and still could be a lot of fun.

Adorable puzzle for kids and the adults here had to try it too. It was a little challenging, but we figured out you pick capital letters or lowercase letters on the animals. They have capital letters on 1 side and lowercase on the other. They fit together with all capitals or all lowercase. Each animal piece varies in size. There are a few animals that were so small we had to put aside so our little doesnt eat them. Most are not a choking hazard. Our toddler likes to hold each animal and make the noise the animal makes. Right now she prefers to take the puzzle apart after we put it together to put it away. We find animals from this puzzle in random places, like a dolphin in the cupboard or an elephant in the pantry. It arrived on time in a tall skinny box with ample cushioning.

This is a great puzzle. It is not easy. It takes work for my 3 year old to do it. Heck, it even took me a minute the first time it got dumped and I had to put it back together. But, each time we do it, it is a 20 minute event. We talk about each animal and the letter, plus she works at getting it to go together. It is very well-made, too. I also love how it has capital letters on one side and lower case letters on the other. The only thing that drives me nuts is that as you go through the puzzle, A touches B, B touches C, C touches D...all the way until you get to X. X doesnt touch Y, but then Y touches Z. I wish they would have just kept the them of each subsequent letter touching the next through the entire alphabet. Not a big deal - just small annoyance. Some people have also noted that some of the shapes of the animals are weird. Yes, thats true, but my 3 year old doesnt complain about it, so neither do I!
