Greater than one weekThis is an awesome and unique puzzle. Not only is it very well made and pretty, but its super useful for creative and spatial thinking, as well as learning letters of course. I was concerned that it would be boring for my son, after solving it a few times, since the alphabet doesnt change. However, I was totally wrong. Because of the nature of the shapes, it is always a fun challenge and not something you can just memorize position-wise, regardless of how well you know the alphabet. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn that there are lowercase letters on one side and uppercase on the other, so you can solve the puzzle in two directions. My 3.5 year old loves this, and so do I!

> 3 dayOur granddaughter loves this puzzle that we gave her for her 5th birthday! I had been looking at it for over a year. Decided the timing was right--a good challenge, but no so challenging that she would get too frustrated The puzzle can be put together from left to right, or from right to left. This will determine whether you are using capital letters or lower case letters. Also, they need to be tracking their alphabet, (what comes next) as they are identifying the letters. The letters correlate to the name of the animal/bird etc puzzle piece. For example, V is for vulture. Some animals are fairly common and easily identifiable, while others are a little more challenging. We also have the spatial aspect of the puzzle. This puzzle is put together a little differently than some---yes, you are going in one direction, but some of the pieces are a little more challenging to figure out how they connect to the previous piece. So, you are dealing with 1) the spatial aspects of putting the puzzle together, 2) tracking the letters of the alphabet, 3) Remembering whether the letter is upper or lower case, and 4) identifying the animal as a clue to what letter this might be. The only negative point about this puzzle (in my opinion) is that it does not have a lid or a case. Once you tear the plastic off of the puzzle, you do have a nice little box that its in, but nothing to prevent pieces from being spilled or lost. Overall, though, its a wonderful puzzle!

> 3 dayI found this at a Barnes and Nobles years ago and have bought several as gifts for relatives and my daughters and sons friends. Sturdy, colorful, cute. The kids enjoy playing with it and learning their letters. Its beautiful and cheerful enough to kept for a long time, displayed on a shelf, and taken down to play with when a little kid visits.

> 3 dayMy 4 year old nephew LOVED it. It’s sturdy, fun, and different. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a top or a cover, so the puzzle pieces easily fall out if it gets knocked over or put in a bag.

Greater than one weekMy 3 year old LOVES this puzzle and has found so many ways to play with it: as a puzzle, practicing the alphabet, counting, making animal sounds, motor skills, and working on putting together phrases (he has a speech delay). I love that its made of wood in a sustainable way and isnt just more plastic, flashing, noisy junk! LOL. Cant recommend this highly enough.

> 3 dayThis puzzle is so cute. Got it for my 5 year old grandson. The animals are easy to recognize & fun to play along with. I prefer to have supervised play with this because we end up making it a game of it. I point out the letter that is printed on the animal, then one by one we attach the next animal. Even if we only get through some of the alphabet, I know hell retain the letters we worked with.

> 3 dayThis is a great puzzle. It is not easy. It takes work for my 3 year old to do it. Heck, it even took me a minute the first time it got dumped and I had to put it back together. But, each time we do it, it is a 20 minute event. We talk about each animal and the letter, plus she works at getting it to go together. It is very well-made, too. I also love how it has capital letters on one side and lower case letters on the other. The only thing that drives me nuts is that as you go through the puzzle, A touches B, B touches C, C touches D...all the way until you get to X. X doesnt touch Y, but then Y touches Z. I wish they would have just kept the them of each subsequent letter touching the next through the entire alphabet. Not a big deal - just small annoyance. Some people have also noted that some of the shapes of the animals are weird. Yes, thats true, but my 3 year old doesnt complain about it, so neither do I!
