Cute colors. Adorable animal shapes. But I still say the nightingale looks more like a duck. New paint job needed there! And while the pig is appropiately pink, it seems to be sporting a turkey tail. Whats up with that? LOL.

This puzzle is very cute and very well made. I bought it for my 3yo granddaughter, who loves puzzles. When I gave it to her, she didnt like it as much as the traditional square type, but I jumped the gun a little. She just started pre-school! But she can still play with the animals, name them, and say what they say. And I think she will grow into it and like the challenge of the different format when she does.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my nephew of 1 1/2 years. Knowing he was too young, I wanted something more challenging-as he completes puzzles with such ease. He loves it-and its a challenge. The cool part? You can play and stack them as wooden animals! Win, win.

I bought this puzzle way too early for my daughter. But weve had it stashed away in the closet for over a year. Shes 3 now and we have pulled it out and shes finally old enough to work at putting it together. I love that the puzzle has Capital letters on one side, and lower case letters on the other side. Great learning tool!

We were disappointed in this puzzle. The animals are cute enough, even if you have to stretch your imagination to allow the animal to be the shape that they have made it, but what was annoying was the packaging and quality. The paint on the pieces seems thin and prone to chipping. At least one piece was smudged. I did like that both sides of the pieces were painted, but I would have expected them to be anyway, based on similar puzzles of this type. It comes in a long shallow wooden box, which helps younger kids build the puzzle by containing it while they work, but there is no lid for it, so all the pieces just fall out when stored. Similar puzzles we have bought by other companies have had a slide-on clear plastic lid that keeps all of the pieces in place. Also, there is a picture of the puzzle as it looks when assembled (also helpful for younger kids), and it says how many pieces there are etc, but the paper is just loose rather than attached to the inside or the back of the box. In the end, had to find something else to store the pieces in. This wouldnt be a big deal, except that I also feel like I have to keep the original wooden box so my toddler can use it when building the puzzle. If this were the only puzzle of its kind I had ever purchased, I might be perfectly happy, but comparing it to others of a similar nature, it leaves a bit to be desired.

Very pleased with this. Only bought it as it was a special present but it was very expensive.

This is a gorgeous, high-quality wooden puzzle! I’m beyond pleased with its wonderful appearance, and it came in a wooden tray that was made for it. If you’re looking for a special keepsake for a child, this is one that they will play with and hand down to THEIR children.

This is a great puzzle for kids! Its difficult to do but the wooden pieces which are different animals are fun to play with individually and in themselves are a fun way to learn about animals from A to Z. Putting the puzzle together isnt easy but a picture of the puzzle comes with it & that helps putting the pieces together.

This puzzle is so cute. Got it for my 5 year old grandson. The animals are easy to recognize & fun to play along with. I prefer to have supervised play with this because we end up making it a game of it. I point out the letter that is printed on the animal, then one by one we attach the next animal. Even if we only get through some of the alphabet, I know hell retain the letters we worked with.
