I was looking for a new computer screen, and I had bought one recently, but it was burning my eyes with just a few minutes of use. I have a vision condition already, so I needed a screen that minimized discomfort as much as possible. I only just bought this BenQ screen and started using it only recently, but right away I notice it is A LOT easier on the eyes. I imagine it will be a lot easier over time compared to the other screen I had, and possibly many other screens out there. All in all, very happy so far with my purchase. Great price for the screen size, and great for comfortability on the eyes. Thank you BenQ!

The monitor is nice and large but lacks in the deeper blacks (FIXED). On my laptop screen, it shows a nice and dark black, but on the monitor, it seems to be dulled out and grayed, but it isnt too bad. For PC gaming, Id highly recommend getting a higher refresh rate monitor such as 120-144hz because it would utilize those frames better. For consoles, this would be a perfect monitor as you probably wouldnt be going over 100 fps anyway. For others looking for a monitor to just surf the web, this would also be a perfect and relatively cheap option for a monitor Overall, a great monitor, but would wait until its under $120 if it wasnt already. A regular price of $150 seems a bit too steep for a 60hz monitor. EDIT I found the reason as to why the blacks werent as dark. For some reason, the monitor comes in with nightlight turned on by default, filtering out blue light. Also, the adaptive brightness was also off by default. Make sure to configure your monitor after installing it.

Works well with iPad Air. BUT there is no manual other than set up instructions!

The first thing that my wife noticed as I pulled it out of the box was how little light reflected off the screen. And when we hooked it up the image quality was pretty darn great. I was pretty happy with how bright it was and then the next day, thinking it was a bit too bright for my early A.M. wake up I found out it was only at 30%. I can play World of Warcraft in the middle of the day and see the darkest of details in the game. Its amazing! And the blue light filter on it is a god send of technology, no more dry aching eyes and its easy to pull away and see the damn room in the dark. I can see why it sold out so quickly when we first got it. We had to wait a bit for my wife to get her own monitor as well.

    Greater than one week

The size of the screen is perfect as well as the slick sliding motion to rotate and move the screen up and down. I wish the screen got a little brighter though since during the day it feels a little dim. At night though it looks great!

Video quality is top notch. I use for both work and video games and the quality is very good for both. There is zero glare from sunlight. They’ve earned a loyal customer.

I would definitely recommend these monitors to people. I bought two for a dual display setup. I use it for both office work and for gaming. I connect to the monitors using display port and a laptop docking station. The stands are very sturdy and setup took less than five minutes. The displays are much easier on my eyes than my other ones. I bought these to hopefully help with my migraines (since I sit at the computer for 12+ hours a day). I haven’t had them long enough to see if they really help with the migraines but I will update if they don’t really help. The frames around the outside are thin so a dual screen setup looks good with these displays. The material feels nice and it’s made of sturdy material and not flimsy plastic. There is a little bit of brightness fade near the outside but it’s not bad at all and it’s hardly noticeable. The only way I’ve found to completely avoid that is with curved monitors. Overall, these monitors are a great bang for your buck.

I am replacing my old iMac with a new PC but was very worried about finding a comparable screen for a reasonable price. I did a lot of research, read lists of budget editing screens, most of which were $300-$1000 -- still out of my current budget. Finally after reading tons of reviews on amazon I decided to try this one out and I am very pleased with this purchase! I got the 24 inch and played around with the settings a bit but really it was pretty great straight out of the box. I photograph portraits and weddings and I have a very vibrant style. Because of that I needed to make sure the color was pretty spot-on. I had used my husbands computer to edit a few times and found out the hard way that his screens color was way off and it can make peoples skin tones look sickly. So as soon as I get the monitor set up I pulled up images on both my iMac and the new BenQ screen and they looked very close! We actually noticed that my iMac whites are a little warmer so I pulled out a bunch of prints I have had made and started comparing and the BenQ seemed to be even More accurate to what my prints looked like! A lot of people complained that this screen is too bright, but I dont know if they have changed it since those reviews were written... it didnt seem too bright to me at all, I have it set to 100 brightness. Another reviewer posted settings to match the iMac display, but when I put the brightness level to 50 it was wayyy below the brightness of my iMac. So, I kept the settings pretty close to the automatic settings, I adjusted the gamma a little and a couple other things here and there. So I am very happy with this purchase, I will be sure to update if I have any issues or anything else to add!

I purchased this monitor to replace a 10+ old monitor on my work macbook. Im going from a 1920x1200 to 1920x1080 monitor and hate to lose the larger vertical space but thats what the majority of monitors are using these days! The only complaints I would have about this monitor are minor, 1. I perfer having an external clip behind the monitor as I have some cables that need to be run but out of the way that dont plug directly into the monitor itself (such as a camera and a mouse charging cable.) However, if this were a monitor that hat the back exposed I can see this being appealing and cleaner from both sides, just not something I would need. 2. The power button is big and bright underneath the bottom right edge of the monitor so its not obtrusive like the Xbox 1 controllers but its noticeable. If doesnt draw attention for the most part but is bigger and brighter than I would like. Neither of these is enough to ding a star since it does what I purchased it for and it looks great! Image quality is top notch (while IPS panels have a slower response time they produce much better color and image quality, Im not gaming but working so its just what the doctor ordered.) The imagine is nearly the same quality as the Macbook Pro retina display while using the proper profile. I really didnt have to do much to get it setup an working, unlike monitors of old where I could spend many hours tweaking to get just right. Im very happy with this purchase, especially since it popped up on my price watch at below $100!

Daily usage, hasnt worn out. Came in a nice box. One of the inserts is wobbly, I am fairly sure its on my desktop towers slot but then its got no signal detected until I jiggle it into place. Fairly frequent, Im getting my tower repaired soon.
