> 3 dayI LOVE this yarn! Its so fast and easy to work with! The only thing that takes a longer time if you like to cast on a little tightly like me, is the casting on. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but this yarn is great! I definitely plan on getting more! :) Its definitely great for making blankets, but it might take more than one ball of it to make a blanket for an adult like me. My friend who uses this yarn says that she uses 4 skeins of this stuff, and it reaches from her shoulders to her toes. she might be a bit taller than me. Im 55, I but I might do five anyway so that I can have more to be cozied up in. The material is super soft!

> 3 dayGot 2 different lot numbers. The colors are way different. One is bright colors and the other colors are faded dull colors. See picture. I’m making a blanket for my great grandson and hope he doesn’t notice. I thought by ordering from HERRSCHNERS craft company I’d be getting the same lot number. My mistake.

> 3 dayI ordered 8 skeins for a large project I’m working on. Though I ordered them at the same time, they clearly were not all from the same dye lot, and no dye lot was indicated on the packaging. I’m working on a C2C blanket for a friend, and you can see every transition from one skein to the next. Although many of the balls had no joins, a few had more than 2-3 joins which I thought was a bit excessive. Otherwise the yarn is soft, and I will continue to buy for baby blankets where 1-2 skeins is plenty and I can match them up by eye. I just thought this was important information for those wanting to do larger projects.

> 3 dayI do really love this yarn—however, it is very difficult to work with as a beginner. It is hard to see your stitches if you need to look back especially on darker colors. The texture of the yarn was also different from color to color-back had almost no stretch or “plushness” as they lighter colors. With that said, it makes super cozy and plush blankets. More experienced knitters/crocheters will probably work with more ease. Pictured are my first two knitted blankets. I am self-taught and only knitted a little infinity scarf with wool-ease a year ago—so based off my experience and if you have more, the results you will have will probs be much better! I’ve made two blankets so far: one baby and one adult sized. I would also suggest shopping around for prices. Amazon doubles and even tripled the prices on some colors. Pattern from yarnspirations

> 3 dayThe yarn is soft, but it was more than two pieces tied together, more like four. Kind of disappointing, because it is pricey.

> 3 dayI am wondering if this was someones returned purchase. There were partial skeins in with another skein and all were wrapped individually in plastic without the Bernat label. Lots of ends knotted together in a skein.

> 3 dayI used this yarn to make a baby blanket for a friend who is expecting. This yarn is very easy to work with, soft and light weight. I used 2 colors to make the blanket shown in the photos. The taupe color was used to make the “marching elephants” border around the edge. I have another baby blanket to make very soon, and there is no other choice for me except the Bernat Baby Blanket Big Ball yarn. The project came together quickly and I was very pleased with the results. Give it a try..... you will be “hooked” as well!

> 3 daySome sort of brown stains on the white parts. I’ve never seen this in all the time I’ve been using this product. I need to find a way to clean it up since this is a gift for a new baby boy.
