Bernat Blanket Bright Yarn, Pixie Pink

What can I say? Bernal is a trustworthy and worthwhile brand, but I was very disappointed on the depth of color. It is significantly lighter than the image on Amazon. The red is almost pink. Id return it if it wasnt the only masculine blended color yarn I found with red.

I made a baby blanket for a friend. I needed one more skein to complete the project. Imagine my surprise when the skein arrived with the same number color code!!!

This yarn was super soft and pleasant to work with. Colors are easy on the eyes. I had white Bernat blanket yarn leftover so I combined it with this pink one to crochet a small hexagonal blanket for my puppy and she loves it. I wash it on delicate cycle in my washing machine and tumble dry low. If anyone is curious what pattern this was: search Hexagonal Blanket by The Crochet Crowd on YouTube.

I love the blues, greens and teals but the yellow just does not flow with the rest of the colors. what is worse is that it is an ugly yellow and it looks dirty. Of all the bernat baby blanket yarn i have purchased this one just doesnt look good.

I received this grey garbage in a plastic bag with no label for $12.99. I am holding real bernat 300g yarn that I got from Joann’s in person. You can clearly see the difference. I ordered tan 300g and this clearly is not close to 300g and is a totally different yarn. Amazon is refusing to give me a full refund and expects me to drive 45 mins to return the garbage yarn they sent.

Yarn was added to the skein. The tie on was mismatched so the pattern was misaligned. I have other skeins in different colors that have been just fine. Not so with this skein.

It was great made an afghan ready to gift someone special.
