> 3 dayFlashlight underneath handle is VERY sensitive. I recommend removing batteries until they are to be in actual use.

> 3 dayI needed an umbrella for when I walk my dog, I heard about an Star Wars one, so I went onto amazon to see if it existed. It did so I ordered it, it arrived a few days later. I used it even though it was barely raining, I kept cycling through the colors and decided I liked the blue the best. Also the road I walk my dog on is a dirt road out in the country, so the flashlight in the handle, which shines down wards, came in handy. But now I need to purchase another one so I can add it to my Star Wars collection.

17-11-2024I love this umbrella for the light saber on the staff. It changes colors each time you open the umbrella. I also love that it has a touch light at the end of the staff, which helps in walking at night. With the lights you can also be seen in the dark should you walking in heavy traveled areas. The one thing I most definitely dont like about this umbrella is that you have to push it open manually. There is no one touch button to open it, so if your hands happen to be full, its unfortunate but you will will need both to open the umbrella. This possible would have prevented me from purchasing, but I missed seeing this.

> 3 dayI love it for the lights.. it changes color and there is also a switch for it to go random colors. Its a sword umbrella for star Wars fan . quite sturdy. There is one feature i dislike because it drains the battery. The flash light at the bottom. once it moves, it turns on without you even knowing it. so the nect time you want to show off this Lightsaber Umbrella , you have no batteries. =(. But all in all a good purchase. You might want to cover the hole at the bottom that activates the flashlight to conserve your batteries.

> 3 dayWe got a few of these a couple of years ago and decided we wanted to buy more to give as Christmas presents this year. Turns out they changed the design. You just need to touch part of the handle to turn it on, but now the light on the handle just randomly turns off and on. Even when its out away in the closet the light will randomly turn on and drain the batteries. We got of these and they both have the same problem.

> 3 dayI love the idea of this product. I also love that it is large and has a sleeve with a handle. I wish it had a button opening option (whre the umbrella opens and closes eith the push of a button so jt only requires 1 hand). I bought this to walk dogs at night in the rain.

Greater than one weekI’ve bought like three or four of these now to make parasols for festivals and this one was by far the most annoying because of the touch-sensitive flashlight. But as someone else said just pull the handle apart and clip the wire, works for me since I have no desire to use the flashlight part anyway. I also don’t like how with these clear umbrellas, no matter what brand you get, the tips of the ribs are barely connected to the canopy. I had to reinforce those eight points with epoxy before I started to build the rest of the umbrella. Overall not bad we’ll see how it holds up coming up in a few weeks.

> 3 dayI will update if necessary but as of this review on 3/31/18 The TL:DR is that I love this umbrella and you should definitely buy it especially if you are a Star Wars fan. The build quality while could be improved, but it is great and seems like it wont be an issue. The plastic all-around seems sturdy enough that unless you WANT to smack it around like an actual lightsaber then you should be fine. There are 6 color modes it gives you basically every flavor you can want. I bought this for my GF and I will buy again for myself :) There a couple of quirks that I find odd like: 1) The flashlight is on the bottom of the handle. If it is raining you can only point it to the ground to help you see where you are walking... Maybe that is the point, because if it isnt then its pointless because if you have it its most likely already raining and so you wont tilt it to use it like a flashlight outdoors. Im not complaining as I wasnt expecting it, I merely find the positioning odd. 2) There is no locking mechanism like on almost every other umbrella once you fold it down/in to put it away, but with it rigidity it doesnt seem to be a problem. 3) What is exactly the point of the alternating light mode? Im not an engineer or electrician, but it seems like a waste of resources.
