> 3 dayMy wife had to have this Light Saber Umbrella and shed wanted it for Christmas but I couldnt get the site to work so I held off a few weeks and bought it for her birthday in January. It does what is says, the shaft lights up in different colors and is powered by AAA batteries hidden in the handle and the umbrella works well too. It is a gimmick and that is what she wanted. That being said the instructions and paperwork that came with it were almost comical, the translations were so bad that it was like reading a comic, not a pamphlet. Same can be said for the e-mail that the company sent me as a follow up. This doesnt affect the function or usefulness of the umbrella or light saber function, but it is worth noting IMO that the company is based overseas and wont invest in a decent translator, just my $0.02 for what it is worth.

> 3 daySturdy personal umbrella for one. While the lights arent noticeable in daylight, they are sufficient in the night to guide my steps. The Shaft Light is fun but also is visible to cars, etc. on that dark and stormy night when Im on foot. All lights are powered via a 3 AAA Battery cartridge inserted in the base of the handle. Manually snaps up, slides down, with no lock to fumble with. Quick and easy. Has a velcro tab to secure the folds when collapsed and has a nice holster for storage. The BESTKEE logo is prominent in several places adding to the appearance. Very happy with this purchase...

> 3 dayBought this for my girlfriend for her birthday. Yes, she is a huge Star Wars fan as well as general nerd. She. Loves. It! Score one for me! Only time will tell how durable and well crafted it is, but the lightsaber portion is bright and the umbrella part is smooth when deploying and retracting it. Highly recommend. Guess I gotta look at rings next...

> 3 dayI havent bought many umbrellas but this is more sturdy than a smaller click extender type. Light up feature is nice not to bright though. The flashlight is kinda my issue with this, its easily activated being a simple touch metal sensor. Meaning I have accidentally turned it on four times when handling it.

> 3 dayThe handle is very fragile and the led light comes on by itself.

Greater than one weekWas super excited for this to get here, I finally figured out how to put the battery pack in so that it lights up. I love it but I know it’s very cheaply made and fragile, I’ve read the earlier reviews saying that it doesn’t have a stopper to keep it from folding in on itself and can easily fall apart at the top for some time. The flashlight at the bottom also randomly turned off just by tapping it in a weird way. I’m not going to use this in anything but a very light drizzle, I’m not going to use this for more than fashion purposes basically, I recommend others do the same

> 3 dayFlashlight underneath handle is VERY sensitive. I recommend removing batteries until they are to be in actual use.
