Greater than one weekThe handle is very fragile and the led light comes on by itself.

> 3 dayOk, I admit it...Im a sci-fi geek. When I saw this I had to get it. The umbrella certainly came at the right time because the day after it arrived it was downpouring. This may seem somewhat gimmicky, but this is really a nice umbrella. It has a flashlight at the end of the handle and of course the cool light saber looking feature at the push of a button (which is also nice when youre walking in the dark), but this umbrella is also very sturdy and attractive. Also, a plus I wasnt expecting is that you can change the color of the lightsaber with multiple options, including red which is a good choice if you want a little light that doesnt mess with your vision at night. Thank you for the opportunity to purchase this at a discount for my unbiased review!

> 3 dayMy son likes this a lot. It looks great with his Darth Vader rain boots. I like that the case has a carrying strap so that he can throw it over his shoulder and go on his way.. I would like it even more if the base were collapsible to make it more compact but that would probably mess with the saber aesthetics. Very cool product, the young Jedi loves it.

> 3 dayI’ve bought like three or four of these now to make parasols for festivals and this one was by far the most annoying because of the touch-sensitive flashlight. But as someone else said just pull the handle apart and clip the wire, works for me since I have no desire to use the flashlight part anyway. I also don’t like how with these clear umbrellas, no matter what brand you get, the tips of the ribs are barely connected to the canopy. I had to reinforce those eight points with epoxy before I started to build the rest of the umbrella. Overall not bad we’ll see how it holds up coming up in a few weeks.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is sleek, cool looking, and has so much potential, but it has a plastic handle which will be prone to breaking even with careful use. Ive used this umbrella less than twenty times, for about five minutes each use, and its only been in light rain. What otherwise looks like a practical design for what it is, Im disappointed that the handle is only plastic and not something stronger like aluminum. I wouldve paid a few extra bucks for a material that could stand up better to normal use. Otherwise, its a really neat umbrella. Ive gotten a lot of comments on it, and get pretty excited any time it rains so I can go nerd out with my cool lightsaber umbrella.

> 3 dayWe loved it. Our 8 year-old niece begged us to let her play with it every time she came to our house, so she got one of her own for her 9th birthday. Walking the dog in the rain just got FUN and weve met so many of our neighbors while using it.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is a fun addition to a rainy day. The kids went crazy when they saw it. But the only negative comment I had was when I first closed it. It pinched my hand. You have to hold it with your fingers when closing the umbrella, not with your whole hand.

16-11-2024Got this for our son who is getting into Star Wars lately. We recieved it a day before it rained for 3 days straight and he used it every single time we walked out of the house on an errand or to walk the dog. Even if there was a break in the rain. It is well constructed, very durable and the perfect size for a young kid or adult. Only draw back is that the bottom flashlight is made to come on when tapping the bottom of the handle so it came on a lot even when not needed. Not a big deal, but a button for it would have been better like the one that changes the colors for the umbrella.
