I make my own body butter, using this as one of the three ingredients I use.. It has no scent - which is exactly what I need as I have sensitivity to some scents. I have purchased this twice and will continue.

I have been wanting to try Mango butter for a while. The reviews seemed mixed so I put it off. I wish I.had ordered it sooner. I have used beeswax, shea butter, coconut oil and cocoa butter for most of my lotion and cream bases. But it always leaves an oily film. Mango butter balances that out. It doesnt melt as quickly or go on quite as smoothly as shea butter but the end result is not as oily. I made a small base using equal parts of shea butter, mango butter, and coconut oil and whipped it with a hand mixer. It went on smoothly and in my humble opinion absorbed into the skin feeling less oily than just equal parts of shea and coconut oil alone. It does not whip up well on its own and has a bit of a grainy feel when whipped with a little sweet almond oil or vit e oil (I havent tried melting it first). But still, the end result is less greasy. The consistency is more like a cross between shea butter and beeswax.

This is product is great . It doesn’t smell bad, it moisturize and natural product. If you have really bad dry skin you can try it but you will still have dry broken skin ..from my experience I noticed before I was I put on thyroid medication my skin was still dry . I also tend to bath in hot water so maybe that was the cause too but even when I didn’t have hot water to shower in I still had dry cracks skin . But when ever I put the mango butter on my skin it did moisturize really well it wasn’t as bad . You can still see I had dry skin though. Now after the medication my skin really responded well. I didn’t have much dry skin it moisturize the whole day and my skin looked great. You can no longer see the cracks on my skin. Keep in mind this is natural product so if that’s what your going for it’s great. Típ : you can empty out the product into a container and put it over hot water . Once it’s melted down you can store it i the fridge for a smoother consistency. Packaging was open in pretty sure the lady who delivered it open my package to see what is was but at least you the product itself wasn’t open or messed with .

This mango butter is soft and unscented. Great moisturizer, Ivory color and not as greasy as shea butter. I initially bought shea butter which is great, but the nutty scent is not my favorite, and you can smell it even with with essential oils. I made a homemade recipe that turned out light and non greasy. Homemade mango butter: 1/4 cup Mango butter 1 tbsp Coconut oil 1 tsp sweet Almond oil 5 drops Vitamin E oil 15-20 drops of lavender essential oil Melt the butter & Coconut oil in microwave 30 sec at a time, cool in freezer for about 10 - 15 min until it starts to solidify. Take out, add Almond oil and whip until smooth and fluffy. Add essential oil and Vit E oil, mix and place in container. Enjoy!

I absolutely love this, I’ve been playing around with different body butter recipes and decided to try this because shea butter wasn’t working for my skin and I must say I’ve seen an improvement with moisture since using this. Also they offer free recipes for butters/balms/lip scrubs so I thought that was great.

It melts over a double boiler easily but when mixed with DIY ingredients it has a tendency to harden into little fragments of wax like fragments. Like pieces of lint. I like that it has zero fragrance. So if you don’t mind residual fragments of granny texture, then this is a good product for the expense. But if you plan on selling that same product, you may want to strain it first.

I was pleasantly surprised with this product. Im allergic to latex so I really cant give a good analysis on mango vs. shea, but I find this to be a great alternative if you have allergies. Mango butter doesnt have much of an aroma and it melts easily. I whipped it together with avocado oil, tea tree oil, coconut oil, carrot oil and jojoba oil and it works wonderfully on my 4C hair and skin : ). One recommendation for the company, l wish this product was packaged in an airtight container instead of a bag. Other than that, I have no issues and will probably enroll in a subscription service for this product.

My new go to. I have had a love hate relationship with Shea butter and coconut oil for years. I love the benefits of both, but they just sat on top of my skin and hair. Then, alas, I found mango butter. C’est magnifique! It absorbs into my skin and hair so well, with all the nourishing benefits and quality. I will be purchasing this again.
