> 3 dayIt didnt have any strong smell like other reviewers have posted. Well, I dont know much about this stuff since this is the first time I bought something like this. But, it works good for a hand/lip balm as far I can tell. I mixed this with beeswax, apricot oil, and Japanese camellia oil (they use traditionally use camellia oil for hair in Japan) and sandalwood & agarwood oils for scent.

> 3 daySo glad I found this mango butter! Im not a huge fan of shea butter (the smell and texture are a bit too strong), but the mango butter has just the right amount of hold, with a much milder scent. The butter was well packaged and arrived quickly with no leakage or mess. For the price, the amount I received was surprisingly sufficient. I made a DIY hair and body cream using half the block of mango butter, some cocoa butter, aloe vera gel, vitamin E oil, Jojoba and rosehip oil and olive oil. Whipped it all up with a hand mixer and it works perfectly for locking in moisture in my hair, and giving deep moisture on my arms and legs. Will reorder when Im out

> 3 dayI used this to make body scrubs. I’m very happy I went with this over others. Was easy to cut, melted down with no problem. I got the bar it was together and not broken. I have ordered the 1 pound bar this time.

> 3 dayI LOVE LOVE LOVE the products that Ive purchased from Better Shea Butter!!! I first purchased the Shea Butter several years ago for my daughters eczema. The owner, Isabella, was truly amazing with responding to my questions via email and she even suggested several recipes to help my little one. That experience, in addition to the excellent quality of the product, has made me a loyal customer! Ok, so the mango butter review- this is a wonderful product for those who have a nut allergy and/or for whatever reason are unable/dont like to use the shea butter. It comes in the form of a block, it is creamy & ultra moisturizing when rubbed with hands and applied to the skin directly and it mixes really nicely with other oils for all the DIYers out there. It is well packaged and even comes with information that directs you to a link for free recipes. Get it, you wont regret it!! ***So proud of the Better Shea Lady for the growth of her business while still maintaining the customer at the heart of it all***

Greater than one weekMango butter is AMAZING. I was bit by a dog on my face a few years ago and I had gotten some mango butter for some soap i was planning to make. After my face was properly cleaned and wounds disinfected I used some mango butter on the wounds ... still 7 years later you cant see where I was bitten. I use it for my dry skin and it works as great as shea butter or coconut oil.

> 3 daySo I read the description very carefully before I purchased this mango butter. Out of all the Mango butter on Amazon this one seemed to have the best reviews. I really wanted (unrefined) Mango butter for the most possible nutritional factor possible. After reading what better shea butter said that there really isnt a mango butter on the market that is (unrefined) that it was a ploy to lure customers in it got me thinking. I have some (unrefined) mango butter from a competitor left so I purchased some of better shea butters mango butter which is (refined) and another brand that also clams to be (unrefined). Yup they all smell, feels and look the same! In my opinion they are all the same. I believe better shea butter is a very honest company and I very much appreciate that. As Im sure others would too. Honestly is better then gold too me. Ill be doing business with better shea butter from now on.

> 3 dayI have a small collection of lotions (who doesnt enjoy having soft skin?) and wanted to add a simple, skin-friendly ingredient like mango body butter for when I longed for something more natural. I like to start with a quarter size amount, warm it up with my palms until it melts, and pat it into my skin. I typically slather it on after a shower or at night before going to sleep so that I may wake up with soft skin. I dont have a strong preference for scented or unscented items and didnt mind that this was unscented. In fact, I feel as though this would be appealing to others who prefer an unscented body cream. Currently, I store it my mango body butter in a glass container for aesthetic purposes and it has not gone bad.
