So I read the description very carefully before I purchased this mango butter. Out of all the Mango butter on Amazon this one seemed to have the best reviews. I really wanted (unrefined) Mango butter for the most possible nutritional factor possible. After reading what better shea butter said that there really isnt a mango butter on the market that is (unrefined) that it was a ploy to lure customers in it got me thinking. I have some (unrefined) mango butter from a competitor left so I purchased some of better shea butters mango butter which is (refined) and another brand that also clams to be (unrefined). Yup they all smell, feels and look the same! In my opinion they are all the same. I believe better shea butter is a very honest company and I very much appreciate that. As Im sure others would too. Honestly is better then gold too me. Ill be doing business with better shea butter from now on.

Very moisturizing no scent

This is the first time I am trying mango butter. This product is white in color, has no smell, is very easy to scoop with a spoon and melts at the slightest touch of the hand. I have normal skin. I used it as-is and my skin just drank it. I used it in a DIY anti-wrinkle cream for a friend and scraped what remained on the walls of my Pyrex measuring cup to try on my face. I loved the feel and even applied it to my lips. It stayed on the lips for several hours and it felt very soft and hydrating. I am going to make a skin oil for the winter with mango butter among other ingredients.

Although it does leave the skin moisturized and soft, it is a little grainy as some other reviews have mentioned. After rubbing in hands or applying, there are some grains that will not melt, so you are left picking them off. I dont notice any unpleasant smell or scent. Other than the grains, I like the way it leaves my skin feeling and looking.

I dont usually write product reviews, but I had to for this one. I purchased a yellow and ivory shea butter, as well as a mango butter and while all three were amazing what was even more so was Isabella. I was a little confused about what to do with one of the products I received and after contacting the company Isabella was not only fast to respond but extremely patient in helping me. Thanks to her (and the free e-book) I was able to make beautiful silky whipped body butters out of all three. I cant wait to order more and try new recipes. If you try these you will not be disappointed. Great product, amazing company!

This is my first time trying this type of butter and it’s very moisturizing and I see an improvement in my skin. I’ve been using this product for a few weeks and I’ve noticed my skin looks more vibrant. If you have sensitive, dry skin, and/or eczema/psoriasis I recommend butters from this brand.

Easy to melt. Easy to use, for what I need it for

Mango butter, where have you been all my life? Seriously, I began making lotion bars and cold-process soap a few years ago and have always used Shea butter (along with other butters and oils) in my recipes. Unrefined Shea butter is just unpleasant...refined Shea butter is so excessively greasy. Mango butter is a perfect balance; it is not overly greasy and it has a pleasant, mild scent. The scent of this product reminds me a little of Play-Doh, but not nearly as strong!! Like a very light natural smell. I did not notice any unpleasant or foul odor from this butter. It was a very nice creamy white color and it sliced beautifully and easily. I am definitely purchasing more!!

It melts over a double boiler easily but when mixed with DIY ingredients it has a tendency to harden into little fragments of wax like fragments. Like pieces of lint. I like that it has zero fragrance. So if you don’t mind residual fragments of granny texture, then this is a good product for the expense. But if you plan on selling that same product, you may want to strain it first.

Loved it, used it for my whipped Shea butter. Wish more product came in with the price, saw another one with more product for a dollar more I’ll be trying next time. But overall product is very good and melts easily
