> 3 dayThe previous owner of my house had dogs that had ALL the accidents on the carpet. The stains were bad! I wanted to try to get them up before spending the money to replace it so I gave this cleaner a shot. I am SO GLAD I did!!!!!!! The first picture was the first pass with the steam super clean setting on…… THE FIRST PASS!!!! I thought I was seeing things! This thing is amazing. I was worried because the carpet was matted down. This thing fluffed it right up and got all the yuck out. The only down side I can find with this machine is that it’s a little on the heavy side BUT…. I would be worried it wouldn’t last if it wasn’t so sturdy. It was super easy to put together. Directions were clear. THANK YOU BISSELL!!!! This machine was worth every penny!

> 3 dayIt steam cleans. It pulls that dirt right out of the carpet. Especially hard working on those stains caused by spills or accidents from your pets. High powered. Bissell brand. The cannisters are easy to remove and fill. Easy to clean when youre done shampooing.

> 3 dayI was excited to use on my almost new carpet that had something spilled on it. The spot came out, but the machine matted my carpet. The steam feature is also pretty lame.

> 3 dayI previously had a Hoover carpet cleaner and recently switched to this Bissell. First, it is about 35% wider, has a steam mode, has gallon fresh water tank, 2 brushes and handheld attachment. It works way better than expected, which is always a nice surprise, however I havent used attachment yet. Tip-Use hottest water from tap for best results.

Greater than one weekThis is the first time I purchased one of these big company flagship machines. I prided myself on keeping my carpets clean weekly until I bought this machine. You see, Ive always purchased the budget machines and they would last me about a year or two with heavy use. When my last one broke I bought this steam machine. AND MY GOSH, two passes and the dirty water tank was still dark. I am very happy with this purchase!

> 3 dayThe pros-- it is super easy to put together and get started using it. It has everything you need included in the box. It even has 2 different kinds of cleaning fluid. The pet upholstery tool works really well. It is easy to clean the tools and the tanks. The cord is nice and long so you can really use it just about anywhere. The hose is also nice and long and seems like good quality material. The cons-- it has no holder for the accesories. Just the bag for the hose, and I guess they expect you to put everything in the bag. I feel like it would be better to have a place to clip them on the unit itself. The pet upholstery tool does not have steam capability which is kind of a big deal to me. If Im spot cleaning messes like that I think the steam is really necessary and I was surprised to find that it doesnt steam. Really disappointed in that. Overall, it is a decent unit. The cleaner worked well and it cleaned the areas I needed to clean; albeit without steam...

> 3 dayMy toddler poured all her cousin’s water based paints on the carpet to tried to use them to paint all over herself , other part of the carpet and the wall. It was a whole 12 oz of paint that was dumped out into the carpet. I freaked out and ended up ordering a bissell cross-wave during a sale. The stain were left on the carpet for over 3 weeks while waiting for the cleaner to arrive. It arrived and just as expected to be heavy for most regular wet and drive carpet cleaner due to a solid motor. I jumped right to work as soon as i got it. It was pretty simple to use. I had to pre wet the effected areas with hot water mixed with dish detergent and left alone for 30 mins to help moisten up dried paint. I then used the cleaner to clean it up. It took a few tries to clean most of the mess. On the last attempt, i added a cup of laundry bleach in with 4 gallon of hot water from sink, as well added in a cup of bissell’s cleaning solution. It did came out pretty clean for the most part. It took me over an hour to clean that whole bedroom. Even though, the heavy vacuum did left me with a sore arms and few calluses but i was happy with the result. Definitely recommend! Please put on your nice grippy pair of gloves and wear a pair of waterproof gloves over them when you use this cleaner. You should a good size cleaning brush to use on some of the stubborn mess as well!

> 3 dayThis carpet cleaner from Bissel is super easy to use. It comes almost completely assembled, only requiring you to fit the clean water tank and snap in the handle. Once thats done, simply add water to the desired fill line (small area or large area) then add cleaning solution to the next line. As an initial test, I used this to clean the carpet of a medium sized bedroom. The rug did not have any real stains except for an area that had been discolored due to one of our dogs sleeping on the same spot for many, many years. I did not try the pretreat mode, but did use the max clean mode on that on discolored spot and used the quick dry mode on the rest of the carpet. There was a slight improvement in the discolored area, but I did not expect much as this spot has been many years in the making. I will go back over it again with the pretreat mode next time. I was also pleased that cleaning the entire room only used about on half of the small area solution (although I am sure that I would have gone through that much faster if I was using the Max Clean mode). However, the brown water in the dirty water tank attests to the amount of dirt removed even in the light cleaning mode. Cleanup was also very easy. The dirty water tank is easy to rinse and the roller cover pops off easily and can be rinsed out without too much effort. Even though I thoroughly vacuumed the room first, there was quite a buildup of dog fur in and around the rollers. It cleaned out easily, but I have to wonder if that could have clogged and compromised cleaning ability of the machine (possibly requiring an intermediate clean out). Overall, I was extremely impressed with how easy it was to use and how effective it was at pulling up dirt. It did not fully remove the old stain in my carpet, but it really would not be fair to expect it to (and I do suspect that repeated cleanings will likely make continued improvements). I also am looking forward to using the hose/attachments to clean our carpeted stairs. It appears to be well made and of high quality and I can easily recommend this carpet cleaner.
